  • An apology by Boris Johnson for breaking Covid lockdown rules was on Tuesday called 'a joke' by the opposition leader, Keir Starmer.

The debate in parliament came after Johnson was fined by police for attending a party in No 10 during lockdown in June 2020. Starmer said the public had 'made up their minds, they don't believe a word the prime minister says'. In her intervention, the Labour MP Angela Eagle asked why Johnson was holding himself to lower standards than Matt Hancock, who resigned for breaking lockdown rules, or Allegra Stratton, who resigned for joking that a party could be described as a business event - a defence that Johnson is now using himself

He's not completely without redeeming factor.. At very least he IS accountable for his actions, rather he is aware and humbly apologizing of his actions.. It's one we don't easily accept obviously but it is an apology.. in my eyes that is infinitely better than someone like Putin who knows what he's doing but keeps on doing same thing/has no accountability whatsoever..not saying I am defending him. but just saying that we should have some form of perspective.. but only as long as it's not used as way of people to 'get away with it'.. to put it FRANKLY..

He might be a 'joke' but he's a lesser joke compared to many other things in this world.. but it's imperative to remain on foot/on guard/vigilant always... saying to see it this way but to practise, CLEAR CAUTION while doing so.. in light of bigger evils in this world he is lesser evil but yes still an evil in some ways and perhaps he had come to realize some of his inner demons/shadow, least to an extent.. I like to think that in spite of others failures they still have redeeming qualities and to forgive their trespasses.. and respond with a certain compassion.. until the narrative flips.. and it's about prosecuting say those people who are just like him.. it's about trying to see it in a set way but while having that leverage.. in case it flips..

In October 2020 my brother died of covid, I along with our other brother could not attend the burial, not because of distance as we all live in same town which is just 4 miles across. We fully obeyed the rules and my brother died alone and was buried alone. To try to express my anger in words I am in no way eloquently able to do, in fact I doubt I have any way to express my anger. Psychopaths like Johnson have no capacity to feel empathy so they can not also understand what it feels like to grieve let alone during a situation like the pandemic. Let me tell Johnson that I have hate in my heart for him now and this is doubly so because that's the first time I have felt hatred for any living thing. He does not understand what he has done because to Johnson others are not Humans, just him, everyone else is an object for him to use. The reason he can lie over and over is what separates him from a sociopath, sociopaths have survival instincts where psychopaths only want to survive so they can carry on doing their psychopathic behaviour. Johnson only exists to use Humans as objects and nothing including his own life matters.

1941. The sinking of the Bismark. Repeatedly pounded till dead in the water. Torpedoes, plus 2800 shells failed to sink her. In the end, the smouldering wreckage could only be sent to the bottom by her own crew who scuttled her. From 2200 men only 114 survived. Johnson and his cronies could draw lessons from this apocryphal tale.
