notes so far: Row 2: *P2, K1 (at first yarn over), P1* (if you see a purl stitch you purl, if you see a yarn over you knit the first YO then purl) Row 3: K1, 1 YO, *SSK, K2 tog, 2 YO* at the last 5 stitches after 2 YO, SSK, K2 tog, 1 YO, K1 Row 4: P4, K1, P1, *P2, K1 (at first YO), P1* Row 1: K1, *K2 tog, 2 YO, SSK* at the last 3 stitches, 2 YO, SSK, K1 Repeat Rows 2,3,4,1 until 40 rows of "big holes" - end on WS with row 4
Is the chart we see in the screen correct? Cs why should we work WS raw from left to right? And even if it’s like that then it turns out P1 K1 P1 P1 while it’s P1 P1 K1 P1 and also no row starts with YO while charts says row 3 starts with YO is all ok with this chart or al I too new comer here? Thank you
How many stitches should be on the needle when you get to forty big holes? The very first row after the garter stitch pattern (K2, YO2) increases the stitch count to 62. That row is not repeated. Which of the four rows that make the pattern are increase rows?
The first row after garter stitch made all increases, because we don't make any k2tog or ssk. When you finish with your 40 big holes you should have 62 sts.
You should have 62 sts at the widest part. Dimensions of the bag are: 10 by 20 inches, when the bag is not stretched. And keep in mind that it's stretches a lot.
In the video it was stated that you can ask questions, You can... but no answers. The purse in the video is quite large, no full still shot of the bag so that you fully see what you are knitting. No measurements so you do not even know the size of the bag you're knitting. It seems that some portion of the pattern is missing you can knit a large swatch but not a market bag maybe a market coin purse?
The size of this bag will depend on your yarn and needles. If you're going to use the same yarn as me, you will end up with something around 10 by 20 inches bag (keep in mind that when it's not stretched)

the chart is correct, it's showing the repetitive part

Row 4: what should the last 2 stitches be??
Row 4: you purl everything, except for when you see 2 yo, first you knit, second you purl.
