    I have to say I'm suprised it was red and white. I thought you would do red and black. I love the combo though and look forward to seeing what you do with them and of course as I start making more knives micarta scales made by myself is a must.

    Love the looks of this stuff!! I'm curious, and I can't seem to find any videos doing it, but what would micarta look like with a printed photo on it? I'm curious how well it would work if you were to print a logo on paper and then make micarta with it. Has anyone ever seen it done?

      @turkeycreekknives133 5 лет назад

      I’m guessing if you put tick marks on the plastic dish like 1/4 3/8” then you would get the micarta closer to the finished size easier? Any thoughts on that thanks for the video

      I used crystal epoxy from Gédéo. Not the best one for the job, but the only one I could find at the time. You can use the cheapest clear epoxy you can find for micarta as long as you let it cure fully. Thanks for watching!

    • @RedSmithWorkshop
      @RedSmithWorkshop  5 лет назад +1

      I used felt. You can use anything. If you use thicker fabric you will need more resin and get a thicker micarta. Hope it helps.
