I’m from Australia. Never realised until now how awesome this guy is, I’m mesmerised by him, I love that he’s so famous , talented and humble. Rock on Joe ❤
Joe is more important to me than even Ed Van Halen or Jimmy Page. He is #1. I picked up the guitar 40+ yrs ago and Joe is the main reason. I dread the day we lose him....BIG TIME! I hope I go first, and I know how insane that sounds but at times when I hear him or see him I do feel that way.
Joe Walsh is a wonderful kind generous man who deserves to be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame as a solo artist so please every Joe Walsh fan please go on and sign the petition to get Joe Walsh recognized for his achievement as a solo artist to be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame
Joe has always had his own sound, since the beginning. That's golden for any musician. He was smart enough to never deviate from that. The Eagles hired him, to be an integral part of the band. He did that, while bringing his sound into the picture whenever required. He's a LOT smarter than he lets on.
I only remember him “letting on” to being smart. In fact, he claimed to be a genius that one time, in that one interview introduction. I can’t remember who the interviewer was or precisely what was said by either; but it was on a talk show. When Walsh claimed to be a genius, the host repeated the word back to Joe as an interrogative: “Genius?” Joe’s reply was simply: “70 million records.” It’s probably more like 100M by now.
I was an oppressed, repressed, physically, emotionally and mentally beaten up kid to teen. I *loved* crazy..Joe Walsh, Keith Moon, Sid Barrett apart from this baby fledgling muso embracing the music…the through sheer insanity these guys let loose the feelings of anger, frustration, hurt, confusion that I couldn’t..in my prim and proper little world. I loved them for it, for saying the truth things, and launching into a form of organised chaos, which was truly cathartic.
Coolest superstar in the entire universe. Great guitar player, great singer, great writer, great person with a heart as deep as a canyon. Nobody like him.
Sometime around ’70 I heard Funk #49 and switched from drums to guitar. The rest is history. I’ve been with him since the James Gang. He’s real, humble, a survivor and an awesome musician. Like a fine wine, he gets better with age. I could listen to Joe play guitar all day long. Thanks for it all Joe! Keep it coming please. Peace.
Joe Walsh is hysterical!!! Funny as hell, gifted musician, songwriter, singer & music producer. Plus he is a Rock Star Stud!!! He needs to do a stand-up comedy routine on the side. Rock on J.W.!
"Yeah, you're got all of what you had to say RightOnTarget, so let's have All of JoeWalsh or put all of what Joe's gotand does in " One LARGE, LARGE, I SAY. ONE LARGE BASKET!!!" SO JOE LET'S GET UP and GO GO GO GOOD!" LOVE YOU JOE, V.L. ALWAYS andFOREVER!!???
did not know Jeff Lynne co produced Analog Man, shou;dn't be surprised i guess, that man's fingerprints are all over quality , memorable, whistle on your lips tunes.
I'm an analog man, love it, huh, I am to. Joe is a long time musical brother, from the days when I first saw that James Gang cover and they were riding motorcycles in the snow, yeah, we're a couple of Ohio boys ( to some extent), and I do ride bikes in the snow to. Anyways, looking back through the years I was never disappointed listening to Joe Walsh, everything's he's been in , the Eagles was great. It's truly the end of a generation that will probably , well, things will never be like they used to I suppose. I hope I'll still be able to see Joe, the Eagles, Stones..etc, in 2024 ya know?
MR. WALSH, IS ONE OF THE GREATEST, MUSICIANS, SONWRITERS, SINGERS, A GREAT HUMAN, HE GIVES BACK TO THE WORLD WHAT THE WORLD GAVE HIM. HE GIVES BACK TO THE TROOPS THAT FIGHT OUR WARS, HE CONTRIBUTES TO SOCIETY TO MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE, JUST A DIAMOND, WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM, THANK YOU JOE, COUSIN FIGEL
Joe Walsh is just as original as they come. Cool as they get. Not big headed in any sense of the word. His music is a reflection of his life. And when you take a great story like Joe's and his life, be able to write like he does, and play like he does, chances are it's a hit when the idea is not only put on paper, but sang and played by him as well. He would sit down and talk with anyone I believe, and show anyone how to write a song a play guitar. What a treat that would be huh? And I think his vocals are as great as his guitar playing. Just a great rock sound in both. You're one cool cat Joe! 👍
Love and have loved Joe Walsh since the early 70s when I was a teenager..he is and always will be the greatest guitar and entertainer there ever was NOBODY BETTE

Thank you 🙏 Jeff Lynne for the great influence you have had for your great friend Joe Walsh. You revived his career plus Joe has been sober for many years.
Just amazing... His music has been such a huge part of my life and is probably how I've handled the bad times... Sarcasm and humor will get ya though, lol. "Whatever it takes" is my motto. One day I hope to meet him person, buy him a shot and beer, and just say "Thanks".
Joe Walsh rock on, been a fan since The James Gang and you added what was needed in the Eagles and solo there's no one I'd rather see in concert " Rock On"
Joe Walsh is still a character...lol Always been my favorite. So nice to see him healthy and happy. A clip of background music in this interview has Joe Walsh Family (special) another great song.
I think they both benefited when Joe joined the Eagles he got sober & has a steady gig besides a solo career & I'm shure Don Henley pays him well. I'd like to know what he & Timothy make .
Being in the Eagles kept his solo career alive. Saying he didn't benefit from being in one of the biggest bands ever is asinine. I know you're just trying to compliment Joe but that's a ridiculous statement
Still a great guitar man, brilliant song writer, and good looking son of a gun after all these years. I crushed on you in my teens through the 70s and still think youre fine today. Keep on keeping on, Joe.
The greatest of all time. I've been following him since 1967, when he was in a band called the Measles, hanging around Kent State. He probably didn't know it, but he taught all of teenage guitar slingers how to play.
There are no words that could even come close to say how awesome Joe Walsh is 💞 Been a fan for over 40yrs and still love listening to his music. I've been going back to some earlier stuff like (Decades) and to really listen so just put the headphones on, relax and enjoy the ride. Watching Joe in Concert videos is just mesmerizing. No one tears up a guitar like Joe..There's so much to watch when Joe plays and goes in (full throttle) is what I call it😂😂❤️ and he just goes with it. I love his energy. Joe is a flawless genius and a legend above the rest. Thank you Joe.. I feel truly blessed and grateful 🎤🎼🎹🎶❤🤘🎧 🎸 Much love & peace ✌️🙏❤️

I love this! So true about the digital world now!! It has taken over and people are loosing so much of the good thengs in life that used to be important and used to prevail and be on top. The digital world has taken so much away! Overkill gone wild! Great song. Great musician that has come down a long road in the world of music.. love this - love his humor and his message within - and as usual, super-tight band and backup singers, and amazing musicianship - and Joe's great lyrics!

I can't wait to see you with all the other amazing talent in Columbus in November! And thank you for supporting our veterans!
He is such a humble down to earth man. He has inspired me for my entire life. The lyrics to Living the life of illusion is something that I badly needed to hear, and cling to, at that point in my life. Hey, don't you know ita waste of your day, caught up in endless solutions. That have no meaning, just another hunch, based upon jumping conclusions. Another words don't waste your time worrying, it gets you nowhere. Stop spinning your wheels.
