Because they are new there is an unknown for us and that is one fo the most exciting things in sneakers. For those who need a little more of on foot review of the shoe and a comparison to the 270's and similar, this is for you guys:
My main comparisons are going to be with shoes that I own, so the likes of Air Force 270, Crazy 1 ADV PK, UBs, Tennis Hu's, and other shoes I've tried on before. I will tell you right now they fit true to size, and I'm a size 10 in ultraboost, deerupts, NMD's, AF 270's, Nike Blazers, and Asics Gel-Lyte V's.
Design:
These look a lot better in person much like AF 270's without all the extra bulk. I find the comparison for the Air Max 270's odd as they look more like the Air Force 270 due to the tech elements. Its a lot more form fitting, lighter and fits my kind of wide foot perfectly. I don't think they are necessarily snug as that would turn a lot of people away. They are form fitting from the heel to midfoot, and theres room for your toes horizontally. The toebox outsole shape and construction is a very similar shape to the Crazy 1 ADV PK's. This is good to me because I love the space for my foot between the knit and the outsole. If the PK versions have the same feel as the Crazy 1's ill definitely be buying.
Outsole & Outsole Comfort:
Starting with the outsole, the Boost looks to be the same as NMD's, Iniki's and budget boost models. This means its a bit more firm than Ultraboosts as the pellets feel more compressed ( This can be seen in the differences in the molds). This is an illusion because the boost actually feels softer, so its in between an Iniki and a UB model. However, I find this mold a lot more refined than those models lacking some of the rough edges around where the boost is cut. This is one of the issues with other models I'm glad to see worked on. Lateral stability is really solid.
The EVA foam at the forefoot is nice and soft unlike the AF 270s that use a combination of EVA and rubber. This will help relieve some pressure where I often get sore after long days in this area. The EVA outsole on the inner side of the foot does cut in pretty narrow and you can feel it getting a little snug.
The midfoot plate is something that I don't notice against my foot and doesn't run too narrow. It has more flex than your eyes believe and is enough support to keep your midfoot locked in.
Traction is pretty good and there is enough rubber that you wont wear through quickly. Traction during the rain was a little iffy. I slide once walking to my car door from stride to full stop. The rubber did catch and it was nowhere near close to a fall. Just a little slip and catch.
Upper & Upper Comfort:
The upper knit is not stiff and has more flex than I originally thought. It reminds me a lot of the non-PK knit on my tennis hu's which I really like the feel of. It also feels like the same underside material used on that knit as well. The pores in the knit are also big enough to breathe easily. My foot feels like it fits and hugs against the knit perfectly where its not too loose and not too snug. The adidas stripes don't add much support. However, your midfoot will still feel locked in due to the way the knit is glued under the midsole TPU plate. It pulls on it to make it more still in this area. The eyelet construction uses the same material as bookbag straps ( not sure what to call it). This means it doesnt stretch and helps lock the top of your foot in. The tongue is the least enjoyable part of the shoe and where they should have spent more time in R&D. The tongue and eyelet are cut at a square corner. Wearing low socks, the strap material of the eyelets pushes into my ankle and I can feel a small coarse rubbing sensation due to the cut. Thats the only comfort issue I have with my short time with them.
The 3m laces and 3m hits under the toebox knit is a really cool touch. This colorway is great for me as I like minimalist patterns and small hits of color. Its the reason I have the black AF270's over any other colorway. The Blue strap that wraps over the midfoot seems to add some support, but I don't notice it being there. The pulltab on the bad feels cheaper than the rest of the shoe.
The ankle collar does not have a lot of stretch so its not super easy to slip on. I compare it to Deerupts.
Insole & insole Comfort:
The sky blue insole color blocking is a great little design cue. However, the insole is the typical thin insole found on other adidas models like the EQT BASK ADV.
Overall, I find this shoe a winner over the 270's after checking all categories. The thing I dont like about the 270's is that the large air unit always feels disconjointed from the rest of the outsole, as if something is stuck to the bottom of your foot. The POD's feel more cohesive like an average runner with tech inspired additions and design. The shoe is nice and light and eliminates a lot of the bulk felt in the 270's and makes a great Spring/Summer/Fall shoe on semi-wet/dry days.

I bought a pair, so far so good, the upper is super comfy it has a silky consistency on the inside plus you can feel the wind through the mesh so it's not really a winter shoe. Only negative I have about it is the rubber on the bottem has a sound when you walk, like a plastic tap shoe if that makes sense :/ it's one of those you won't notice it till you notice it things so sorry guys 😂 I'd give it 7/10 also. Another great video, keep up the hard work, peace ✌️.

Boost is life
I'm really late to the show on this one. I had mine for 2 months now.. I never even noticed these being advertised but Adidas these are the Bomb.. I seen some not so flatering reviews but you stop being a hype beast for Nike these shoes feel awesome, look different enough to get attention and not only multiple colorways but ones that match up with your gear and you can go athletic as well as casual in them.. And yes I have 3 pair and one of them I honestly workout in and run in them but only short 2 mile runs. Great shoe
True to size?
I like the set up. Boost ONLY in the heel and normal(ish) rubber in the forefoot. Just like the ALEXANDER WANG BBALLs :)

Comfortable but not he most comfortable on the market. Definitely looks good on the feet. I'll still say the Nike Reacts and Prestos are the most comfortable everyday shoe.

For the price point they cool. But. The unfinished edges really cut into my foot. On the ankle and tongue. Few sharp points. For $130 boost I’ll cop band-aids

Tried it on in shop. Wasnt anything spectacular really. But yeah Foamy is spot on. TTS. Not nearly as comfortable as UBs. Slightly less comfy than 270s (which arent too amazing in terms of comfort either).

when i tried the POD i was stunned of how comfy it was and i could have sworn it is just as comfy as the UBs

I hear that its a running sneaker then i hear its not. Argh so annoying, i just want to know if theyre good for running in, but all reviewers are saying different things.
I wouldn't wear any adidas boost trainers for running, there's far too much sponge in the boost, great for walking in yes, but you want something more solid for running.
