European Battery Business Club (EBBC)
The European Battery Business Club (EBBC) is an innovative training solution for managers and key experts along the battery value chain. It offers a relevant re- and up-skilling curriculum based on identified industry needs. EBBC combines asynchronous micro-learnings with online live workshops and use cases. Its scalable business model based on a convenient online platform and annual subscription enables a Europe-wide battery learning ecosystem.
Content
• Two introductory modules: Battery Cosmos and Digital Mindset. These cross-cutting skills include general knowledge about topics like battery markets, policies and regulations, information about the whole value and supply chain, as well as establishing the required digital mindset.
• Three content tracks that highlight focus areas along the value chain/circular economy will be made available:
o Battery Materials (characteristic properties, basics of function, advantages and limita-tions; current research trends on novel material directions and material flows)
o Cell Manufacturing (entire process chain: punching and/or cutting, pile formation, elec-trical contacting and packaging, electrolyte filling, sealing and formation)
o Dismantling & Recycling (end-of-life management and different recycling strategies (remanufacturing, reuse, second-life)
In these three tracks, the latest research findings are combined with practical use cases from the industry. By choosing one of the offered tracks, learners have the chance to gain in-depth knowledge in the fields they are the most interested in. Additionally, it is possible to flexibly combine several tracks, ensuring learning paths that are tailored to every learner's needs. Com-petencies will be evaluated by applying tests and quizzes during or after the modules and tracks.
Participants obtain a certificate attesting to their newly acquired skills.

• Combination of innovative micro-learnings formats like webinars, podcasts, user-generated content, speaker series and videos ensuring a motivating and attractive learning approach.
• Innovative online learning platform guaranteeing a great and holistic learning experience.
• Subscription model, which grants access for 12 months for subscribers. Learners can flexibly decide how to integrate learning into their daily work. Having access to the platform whenever they want to and wherever they are, allows independent and asynchronous learning. This ap-proach ensures geographical independence and guarantees low barriers for learners.
• In addition, synchronous formats like online live workshops or expert discussions guarantee networking in the battery field.
