Hands down one of the best videos on the whole channel! Fantastic idea to use the mult to send modulation to several places at once. Record this, release it, its great! I would listen to it =) Very inspiring
Watching your space for long enough now, undeniably your set up and approach evolved in a way that it’s pleasing over the years and MakeNoise instruments provide features and sonic possibilities that are unimaginable. One must have hands on experience to appreciate the beauty of these instruments. Thank you for the efforts you put in over the years, and of course on this example you are shined and encourages audiences to explore even more.
I say you keep pushing music into where it should be heading. This is like the impressionism movement in art of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Very cool thanks as always.
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC hello great, i own STREGA and also the korg Sq1 sequencer but i don't know how to make them play or interact with each other, could you please make some tutorials about it? 1000 thanks in advance
@@gavinocorda3415 Try patching the SQ-1 CV output to Strega 1v/oct, and the Gate output to either Activation CV input, or Agitation Gate input (if the latter, also patch the Agitation Output to Activation). Thinking of doing a "Strega played by CV Keyboard video" soon so stay tuned! Also check out our SQ-1/0-Coast playlist if you have not already ⚡
nice patch. at first i thought it was going to be too hectic and noisy as some patches shown here on the channel are for me, but after a minute i really got into it. this video could have lasted longer. i could see myself zoning out for an hour just to walker playing this patch plus keys at a liveshow.
The visual effects got me. Big smile... I think a nice addition to these breakbeat experiments would be a steady and solid 2-step kick/snare pattern to keep it grounded. These experiments have all been ending up in deep space, which of course can be fun, but a solid backbeat might lend some additional musicality (if that ever fits the mood).
i think this one is different. the regular hat pattern is what keeps it grounded. when you have such a regular foundation all the weird stuff happening around it doesn't disturb the overall direction of the piece. granted, the hat pattern reminds me of kickdrum patterns in freetekno so having extensive experience at such gatherings might have helped me here.

Glad to hear that you liked it! ⚡️🎶⚡️
Once again, a top top video. Knocking it out the park with these breakbeat vids!

Thanks for your kind words, and for watching! Happy patching ⚡️🎶
I used my position of “power”(teacher) to watch this with a roomful of students today. They thought it was weird! Mission accomplished!
Hope they liked it!
The best one yet!💥Thank you for this.
Glad to hear it! ⚡️
This is one of the most creative uses of the Strega that I have seen yet.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Some seriously in-depth knowledge of what morphagene does here... I need two lift my game! Inspiring tutorial Walker! Thank you

What a compliment! Thanks so much ⚡️
Thanks walker
So fun and interesting. Thank you MN!
Thanks for watching!! 🎶
I had never thought of using a cable on the touch plates. So fun!
It gives a more "on/off" vibe to the modulation than fingers, which allow for some nuance
That was excellent!!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, that was a trip! Excellent video!
Thank you!! ⚡️🎶⚡️
Incredible session!! Where's your album?

This was just stellar 💅

*Runs to room to experiment with this new concept*
Can you stick the breaks reel onto Freesound?
It's not public domain unfortunately
Man, I gotta pick up a Strega!
Rad. ❤️✨Strega✨

Creativity is a wonderful thing.....
One of the best yet! Just out of curiosity what was the source of the pads? Sounded lovely together!
Pads created with Plogue chipsynth SFC.
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Perfect pairing. Love MN!
Where did the melody come from towards the End?
Playing a VST on a keyboard 🎹
Would buy this 7" without hesitation.
Same. When that melody came in I stopped in my tracks. Please make it happen @makenoise!

So aweome dude! So I can use Morphagene as a desktop module like 0-Coast and Strega?
The Morphagene and TEMPI are installed in a 4ms Pod: 4mscompany.com/pods.php
