    Man, hardly any views and I'm the first like *and* comment? For shame. This was really informative, especially for a guy like me who's slowly been getting into some running in my trail excursions. I'm slightly shorter but definitely heavier (6', currently 246lbs), so knowing you're a dude of your size is actually pretty inspiring. Thanks!

      awesome I'm glad you liked it! Yeah my speciality is making badass videos with minimal views , I'm pretty good at it lol!
      my advice for getting into running in general is consistency and think of building a pyramid one layer of paint at a time and slowly build your aerobic base and skeletal muscle strength. Its super easy to get over zealous (especially on the down hill) and be so sore you don't want to do it it again

    Thanks for this video, I really enjoyed watching! I'm building a jogging/running routine after taking a break for several years, and I find myself more and more excited for trail running, although I have a long way to go until I have enough stamina and muscles to tackle mountain running. Your video has added to the motivation :)
