Hello again, I'm the pyton developer who switched to java, maybe you remember me, at the moment I'm writing in Spring Boot, but I decided to write a small application in javaFx and encountered difficulties, I saw a person on reddit with the same problem and your answer to him. thank you very much for this video! helped a lot, by the way, initially I didn’t even suspect that this was your video, but after learning about it I was pleasantly convinced, thank you very much again!

UPDATE: You might not see "module-info.java".
Follow these steps
1. Go to your project's module settings (right click project folder -> open module settings or just press f4 while highlighting the project folder)
2. Click on project section
3. For project language level, set the value to "11- Local variables syntax for lambad parameters"
And you should be able to see "module-info.java"

I did not need to create the module-info file, it ran after I clicked in 'run'. Perhaps may be the version of JavaFx? currently using 21.0.2 version

Hello, I believe you might need to update your JDK. What version do you have? To find out, go to your terminal and type "java --version" (there are two dashes before version)

Hello, I've since updated my IDE version to the recent one which is 2024.1 and for the JDK I am using version 18.0.1.1 (which I should update 😅)

is javafx used by big companies too?
I'm not exactly sure, but I have heard some people use it in some companies. If you are trying to get a job with Java I'd recommend focusing on tech like Spring Boot or something like that. I just make GUIs for the fun of it 😅

Hello, do you mean the terminal? If so you can click on it at the bottom left of the IDE.
