I searched CSULB video cuz I’m coming there as an exchange student in a week then I found your video now I’m so excited to go there so much thank you!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! I'm a transfer student and was wondering why my mom couldn't come (she's an alumi), but now I understand why so thx for showing what goes on during orientation!👍
Congrats on getting in! 🥳🎉one piece of advice I would say, before you transfer, learn about your program and resources on campus, email the program/advisor if you have any questions, definitely take initiative on these, as I feel that has really helped smooth the transition process for me personally. The university campus feels so much wider and bigger than community college, the overall vibe is different and better I would say, because everyone has a goal and knows they’ll stay here for a while. Whereas in community college, people know they’ll transfer out. There are many clubs you can join as well. I would say it’s easier to find the right people in the right circle. 😊
Hi! I think I received my initial offer in mid February last year. 🙂But some students received theirs in mid March. I received my csu Fullerton offer in early March. It might vary from student to student. But the deadline can be different every year.
Hi! Congrats on getting in! 🎉 😀though I don’t know too much about the major, I passed by the engineering building several times, it looks great / modern inside out! Maybe try asking in CSULB’s Reddit community. Many CSULB students in that major will definitely tell you more about it! 😁
@@anishjadhav7729 I think it depends on what major. Some majors are reputed in their industry. CSUs are known for hands on teaching practices. UCs focus more on theory based teaching practices. From what I’ve heard. CSULB as a whole is known to be a difficult school to get in as it is selective. That might influence future employers’ perception as well 🙂
congrats! Overall the campus gives off a really student-friendly vibe. The staff here are very nice and helpful! A lot of green areas and you can really feel the beach vibe! I wish I could tell you more but I’m also new to CSULB as a transfer lol. So I haven’t experienced too much of the campus yet
SOAR orientation tomorrow. Thank you, this video was super helpful!
