I do too but part of me is glad because more treasures for me to find lol I tell my friends all the time how incredible thrifting is but some people just don’t want to have to search and dog…. I however find it to be so much fun!😊

Ha! I also walk around as if I only have a small little purse and try to hide my GIANT bag under the seat in my minivan hoping no one will think it's worth stealing!
I still love the Vera Bradley triple zips, they’re my favorite purses of all time and last forever. And I always get compliments on it!
I have that green and white checked shirt I believe! I call it my Anne of green gables shirt because it has delightfully poofy sleeves! So cute.
Camouflage is my favorite color! It all about CAMO
I had the same brown one piece with the dinosaur for my son :)
I spent a few years living out in the sticks, the only girl with 4 brothers ....Mom and I did washing in an old wringer washing machine and hung up the clothes on a couple of lines strung from the house to the wood shed...hard work but some great memories ...and boys and dirt ...they go together like milk and cookies....love watching your videos about anything.....I feel like I am visiting with a friend when i am watching you ...and your family is lovely .....
I am about to have my 4th boy and have just one girl she is the 2nd oldest. I am wondering if there was anything you wish your mom had done differently or things she did right?
She has her own room but she prefers to sleep with her brothers at the moment and is pretty close to them, they fight a ton and my oldest often says he wishes we just had all boys but at the same time they are close buddies. She is very very girly, she dresses in pink/purple loves unicorns and flowers, which is really fun for me I LOVE it, I was a tomboy kenda girl not like her. But we go to the hairdresser together we have days out shopping etc... But on a day to day bases her brothers especially the little ones are closer to me, they spend the most time with me and cuddle more but she is more of a daddy's girl.
@@sarahbenz.h4647 ,How sweet of you to ask me ...I just turned 67 and my most heartfelt advice is to let her try and learn everything that she is curious about .... the things I was not allowed to learn as a kid were the things that were the hardest to learn as an older adult ... gardening and anything related to keeping a yard looking nice. ..how to use some simple tools and when it is time to call in a professional....not knowing some of these basic skills made me afraid to try them....

Either plus size clothing is never donated or everyone beats me to the stores. Why are they charging almost new prices for used items? It's getting harder and harder to find nice things. I'm thinking maybe I'll go back to making my own. I went to Old Navy and was surprised to find plus sizes there. I actually found myself some great T shirts.

What are your prices like at your goodwill? I'm on Georgia and our goodwill stores have raised their prices in the last year. Furniture and clothing costs almost as much as new! Used t-shirts are $6, furniture is outrageously priced.
Most things are $1.99 or 2.99 clothing wise.
I'm in Australia and it seems most of our goodwill type stores are doing the same thing over here. Ridiculous amounts on stuff that was given to them for free to start with. The whole point of thrifting is gone in alot of places.

It's crazy here in Pennsylvania lately too. I went to find school uniforms for 4 of my kids and the prices of pants and shirts were only 30 cents cheaper than new at Children's place!!
Same here.....$9 paid of jeans. I can get brand new shipped from children's place for $12. So I did.

My wife and I have found that consignment sales often offer lots of good kids stuff, toys, clothes, books, bikes, and more.
Sleeping bags would be great to add to your bug out bags…

Perfect timing for this video I just sat down after a clearance hall at my local target hear in Aus.. we have just come out of 3.5 months of lockdown and stores are marking everything down that was locked up all that time.. I now have started next years winter for both my children yey.. can’t wait to head into the op shops too 🤗

I miss taking my kiddos shopping at thrift stores I have one baby girl who’s 17 and she’s home very little. But I remember those days of my five kids all doing our lil treasure hunts at thrift stores and pre covid garage sales. I’m that mama like you who is more proud to show off a bargain. I think even if I became a overnight lottery winner I’d still be stretching those dollars! This was a highly enjoyable video!
The great thing about pockets is that they are really easily added to clothes! whether you cut into the fabric so they are on the inside or if you just use a "fat quarter" on the outside she'd be able to pick what goes on the pocket. Walmart usually has a good selection of fat quarters!
I need to get to our thrift store....kids legs have grown alot over the summer. Pants from last spring not fitting well...
I too carry bags in bags! I have a mini backpack inside of a large backpack. Inside my mini backpack is several pouches for things. There’s a method to our madness! 😬😂
Yes! I very much enjoy your shopping trips. Any thing you do is so much fun. You're always smiling and your tone of voice is so calming. And the highlight of my day is that sweet baby smiling and laughing at his momma!

I had a big canvas tennis bag I used as my diaper bag. Used cloth diapers I made out of flannel material. Years ago. My oldest is 42 and my youngest is 36. Time Flys by.

I love old navy t-shirt for my hubs too. They offer the tall sizes and they fit him great. Very affordable too and good finds sometimes in clearance.
I love thifting clothes are already broken in. I have a value world by me. The occasionally send out coupons that is 50% of entire order. My husband and I went and stocked up for Me, Him, and 5 kids. We spent totalled $200 and ended up paying $100. I was super happy
My 8 & 9 yr old boys do fit the same size. But I can’t share clothes between them… as they fight over who’s it is.
And then with my 4m old. He’s huge for his age and already on 12m clothes…. So I can’t pre-buy for next summer as I have no idea what size he will be in by then (I’ve never had a baby this big before and all my other kids alway wore their correct age in sizes)

I love going to thrift stores. If you have a once upon a child near you, you should try shopping there. I don’t know where all of them are, but I know the are in NYS and some in NC. I have gotten clothes for my kids there for as low as $.29 when they do their clearance sales.

I totally do the purse within a purse. And I also use them til I wear them out. Plus with working from home not much wear and tear on purses. Great score on clothes! I always had good luck at garage sales too. When my boys were little I could not always hand down pants as they were built totally different. One needed slim pants. Those were a little pricey new, but I had a couple of family members always on the lookout for them.

I have an old purse with zippers and snaps..inside of a bigger purse that has no fasteners at all..I love the bigger purse but I don't feel secure if my purse isn't closed

I enjoy these hauls so much and love seeing what you get for the kids and yourself. The price difference though at our goodwill is so much more. They've just raised prices I believe again. I've never seen shirts for $12 before lol

When I scan my fetch reward receipts and they're really really long like that I just scan the total and the date and the vendor and it usually takes them without taking a picture of the whole receipt
Oh, OK. My app always tells me to take pictures and submit the whole thing. But I will try it that way next time!
Depends on how long and where the receipt is from, since there are deals for certain stores and certain items.
I really think you need to scan whole receipt so they will be able to give you extra points for things on their list of extra points.
If It don't recognize the items purchased it may not give you all the credit for brands purchased that have bonus points.
You won’t get all your points unless you scan it all-except for Walmart, with them you can just scan the bar code. ❤️
