I have learnt JAVA and as a fresher i can tell you that this guy doesn't know sh*t.. You will only find Java roles for freshers in MNCs and rarely in small companies as they work on Php.
Learn programming... And building logic. And python won't exactly teach you all coz it has tons of library and built in functions to do the job. Go with java its code are long but it's pure object oriented and is really easy once you are comfortable.
