Hanging on the wall is a good idea, until you want to change outfits because anything on the wall won’t be included in your wardrobe rotation anymore. What’s the point of having all the outfits if you’re not going to wear them? 😞

Always find that I've doubled or tripled up on some items. Or if you only wear something seasonally, consider selling and then re-purchasing it from your catalog later.

Instead, sell all the rest, because your inventory is cluttered with mostly stuff you're never gonna use 😅

Just buy them and then sell them back. You don't need to keep them for them to be in your catalogue. The whole point of the catalogue is that you can order things off it for the next day so why keep it all

Fastest way to get villager photos is to give them an iron wall lamp wrapped in gift wrap :) Tested this several times vs wrapped stacked fruits! If you time travel, the iron wall lamp can get you a villager photo within 2 hours.
You should sell the items that you think you wouldnt use to decorate or the clothes that you think you wont wear. That way you would have some money and also storage space! In addition, you can always order things from your catalog if you ever want to use!

Here's what I did when I had too much stuff but couldn't pay off my loans to get a bigger storage: I 'placed' (not drop) all the items on the empty parts of my island away from where I usually walk around hahaha that way it's not difficult to find an item you eventually need to use, plus, it might help you get more stars for your island

Also, I cannot believe how little storage space your new room gave you! I didn’t remember it being so small.
My storage is full, my recycling box is full, and I have 3 16x16 areas of dropped items, dropped items covering all the floor space in my house, and every space on the wall filled up. I'm redoing my island so I'm sure I'll be okay when I can start playing items but I'm just like 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
pretty much if you want a villager's photo you need to build up "friendship points" to the max and that's when they'll give you their photo. some ways that'll help is: to talk to them everyday, give them wrapped fruit (that isn't your native fuit!), wrapped items that are over a certain price (if they give you something in return that means it's working i think), send letters to them everyday. if you don't want items cluttering their homes, you can craft them wall mounted items that sell for a pretty penny because villagers don't hang items that you give them. at least that's always worked for me so far. I've gotten almost every photo of every villager that's been on my island since April of last year 😊. it's a tedious process, but it actually gets me to log on to the game most days lol
tip: you should make a fruit farm or sell your fruit, I have a fruit farm and each time I sell all of the fruit I get around 100k bells. It may take a while to move and plant all the trees but it's worth it 👌 Also a good way of saving is just everytime you have over 10k in your pocket just put it in your bank account, now you don't have to do that if you only have 100 bells over 10k but I would say from 15k and up just put it in your bank account in about 2 weeks I saved 1,500 million bells😉👍
You Gotta make them your best friends which is very hard but basically just given them gifts every day talking to them before you give the gift and sending them loads of crap in the mail mostly wrapped furniture that will do it’s labourious but it works then with my role as soon as I’ve got their picture they can leave. Above a certain amount of money the value of the furniture should be can’t remember how much is is.
I've found better luck with finding gold nuggets on mystery islands than on my own! I think that there's a higher percentage of finding ore on mystery islands. It might be worth getting some NMT!

Hosting or Nookazon works. There's also pumpkin selling if you water them everyday, and golden rose selling. Pumpkins are pretty good since they take up less space than fruit trees. Or make a "mountain" home since you have a beach house, and store things there. When villager hunting, fruit islands and rare fish islands are great farming places. Just go with a limited inventory. Taking a stack of iron nuggets or customization paint to refresh the durability or craft from lower quality while out and about helps too. There's also Nook's Cranny hot items if you have a stash of materials. Hope it helps, anyone.
You do know that you can put all your musical Equipment out and about the villages will play the instruments and the players you can play whatever song you want on them that will save you a bit of space I don’t forget lighting is very important so just put lights everywhere if they’re in your way

For now you are doing well, you have resorted to turnips, in which you must be very attentive every day. since out of nowhere the value can be up to 600 bells each. Try to see which items you need, and which ones you do not sell, it does not matter if it is special (you can get them again, you have a community that you would not have problems in getting it again) or a rare item. You can get it again later ... and do not think that checking the entire island for resources is useless, you can sell the same stones or what you do not use, for more bells
Craft few items for some easy money. You need it for the achievement anyway. Value of one Iron Nugget is 750 if you craft. Value of raw materials is doubled by crafting.
Etce, please get the resources from the rocks and craft things with them. You get paid double what the material costs are for a DIY item. And then you get double THAT if it's one of the daily hot items.

If you grow pumpkins on your island, they sell for 17000-23000 bells at nook cranny depending on how many pumpkins you grow

Don’t sell nuggets. Craft them into something and it’s worth 2x as much. You can also craft other rock resources into item of day and their worth 4x
