I see everybody in comments suggesting ways to make a lot of bells and I’m joining that train. I’ve made the most bells: making and hoarding shell arches to sell them when they’re the hot item, selling mermaid furniture when it’s the hot item, selling fish to CJ, selling bugs to Flick, selling shells, selling gold/gold items. Even if you just save wasps to sell to Flick you’ll make so many bells.

I'd go through that inventory and sell off things you're not going to immediately use. You can always buy them later from your catalog if you need them again. That and plant as much foreign fruit as possible to sell. Make yourself an orchard.
My advice to earn a lot of bells: -Sell fish to C.J and Sell bugs to flick, instead of selling them in nooks cranny -Craft the the hot items of the day and sell them to Timmy and Tommy
just something I do to earn extra bells: I collect all the shells multiple times of the day, get all the fossils assessed and sell all of them. the fossils have a range of 2k to 5k which is better than nothing. also if your storage has anything u don't need or duplicates, u should sell them. I hope you pay off your loan soon haha
I’ll tell you my daily chores in acnh. I hope it helps! I make about 40-50k bells😊 You can do it in any order. 1. I dig up all 4 fossils in my island, assess them, and sell what I have in my museum. 2. I find the money rock. 3. I find the the golden hole 4. I grab all the shells from my beach and sell them (if I see a big shadow in the water I will catch the fish too) 5. I shake all my trees because there are some coins maybe about 2k bells out of those coins in total. 6. I catch all 5 wasps in the trees ( there are only 5 wasps) and sell them 7. And I find the 2 items that you can find in the trees That’s it! Hope it helps ❤️
additional info for the wasps! if you keep them and sell them to Flick when he comes, he's going to buy them about 1.5x more than the nooklings! It does take some time and inventory, but the 1.5x price is (personally) worth the wait. (Same goes to fishes with C.J!)
No matter the color of Pumpkins they sell for 350 each. So, I have a whole section for just pumpkins to make bells whenever I need them. I also sell a lot of non-native fruit which helps a lot. Also, I have stacks upon stacks of wasp nests so I use them to make honeycomb wallpaper which sells for 2,800 I think (could be wrong) so I hoard the wasp nests to sell the wallpapers to Timmy and Tommy they're the methods I use to get bells.

Hey Etce!! Quick fun tip that helped me pay off my debts! You have a lot of Nook Miles, use your miles to go to as many islands as you can and farm iron nuggets. BUT! Before you sell your nuggets, craft as many iron shelves as you can! Iron shelves sell for 10,000 bells a piece and are a really quick way to farm bells and pay off that debt!
I agree that Hot Items are an easy way to do it. Anything that requires a lot of iron will be 👌 The shell arc is also 💰 If you somehow still have Easter eggs, craft the dress and get that bread hehe
Sell stuff you don't use, save the wasps + bugs and expensive fish for the NPCS flick and CJ (if you don't have enough storage, pile the best ones outside - some place out of your way), plant an orchard of non-native fruit and pumpkins to sell, craft the hot items, plant 10 k in your money tree daily so you can collect 30k daily, save up for a nice stash of bells. Eyes peeled for folks with good turnip prices. That is, of course, where you make the most bank if things go right. Source: the 31 million bells in my account. I started in late January (I was given a head start from a benefactor but I was well on my way to 600k by then, which is more than enough to invest in a pocketfull of turnips). Also: clear up the non-fruit trees - the right number to ensure the two pieces of furniture, five wasps and 100 bell drops daily is around 17 trees.
Fruit. While on mystery islands, grab all the fruit, weeds, iron, and every other resource you can. Non-native fruit sells for 500, and coconuts sell for half of that. So if you have enough, you can make a buttload of money if you save. I have a pile of cherries (my sister fruit on my island and if they each go for 500, i’m imagining a pretty nice amount of bells back. The resources should be made into furniture or tools with crafting. You’ll get double of all the resources that way. Mystery islands are basically goldmines if you know what to do.
Quick tip, deep sea creatures (around 7 pm or later) give GOOD money, crabs are harder to catch but worth more, you can make around 30k-60k for every full inventory
I actually recommend fishing in the ocean to get money, red snapper and jawed knifefish sell for a good chunk of change and if you happen to fish up a rare fish like an oarfish you can sell that for a lot. I think a full inventory of 20-30 slots can give about 20-40k bells in the store, depending on how many rarer fish you get
you should make a rock garden etce ! so you’ll know where your money rock is everyday. also it would make a good video. you basically place maniquens all over your island untill the rocks spawn in the same spot
Sell all your flowers, they grow back, you have a lot, use 2 mario pipes to teleport to the store so you don't have to run back everytime, my mario pipe is established behind Nooks cranny so its out of sight but still functional

idk if anyone said this yet so sorry for the repeat but if you’re planning on selling resources such as iron and wood and such, you’ll get twice as much money from a crafted item using those resources as you’d get from selling the resources directly. That applies to any crafted item. Gold items are great for this if you manage to get your hands on those kinds of diys and the gold itself, but any item at all is good for this.
WAYS TO MAKE BELLS!1!1!1! THIS IS FOR YOU ETCE, AND EVERYONE ELSE - DIVING!!! filling up all of your inventory can get you around 40k each time, it’s tedious but the payoff is quite nice - Crafting, use materials that are actually worth something, so it’s best to stay away from sticks and weeds since whatever you craft doubles the sell price of the materials (crafting with sticks only gets you 20 bells per stick which isn’t much🌚) I suggest looking up charts- but any materials that you gather and want to get out of your storage CRAFT THEM PLS - ITS WORTH IT I PROMISE (press A to speed up the crafting speed by a lot). Don’t craft non-native fruit if you have the recipes cause it’ll sell less - Fishing and bug catching ofc! if you’re not pressed for money atm, wait and collect everything you catch (i usually have a designated area where i place all my bugs and fish so i can sell them to cj and flick, this way my house storage won’t have a heart attack and i’ll get more bells :) - M y s t e r y I s l a n d s, i suggest using those nook miles tickets to get on an island and try to farm tarantulas, atlas moths, or giant water bugs (there are videos that show you how to do this) . In order to do that you need to clear the island which means you get ✨CRAFTING MATERIALS✨in the process. So if you can’t catch any bugs or they just aren’t spawning, you can still make some money. Is it tedious? absolutely. But broke people don’t get to choose how they make money :,) - Turnips Turnips Turnips!!! if you do have some bells- invest in turnips! I time traveled to sunday, got my turnips from ms.daisy-mae and then used Turnip.exchange to make some nice bells (there are also youtube videos on this topic as well) but i suggest waiting to the middle of the week (so like wednesday or thursday irl time) to get the best prices- however you do need online play for nintendo and if you don’t have that, it’s alright just sell anything and everything you can to make those bells. - BAMBOO , make a bamboo farm! i used the flimsy axe to get crafting materials from them each day. If you head to a mystery island and it’s a bamboo island, dig up those bamboo shoots (there should be five for each island) and plant those babies. Once they grow, they’ll give you more shoots on your island so you can plant more. That is the o n l y way to get more bamboo without playing russian roulette everytime with mystery islands. You can use the bamboo for crafting , and because it’s a seasonal recipe it’ll get you some nice bells Overall crafting and diving are your besties, and don’t be like etce (i’m sorry😃💔) please if you go on a mystery island- colonize it and use the materials for crafting. You can stock up on materials and wait until a crafting recipe becomes a hot item, that way you’ll get more bells✨ I hope this made sense and there aren’t too many grammar/spelling errors, and i hope i helped in some way! You probably already know, so ignore me if you do, but pumpkins (and blue roses) are the best for this other than turnips imo. I have a fairly large field of pumpkins and get about 600k every 2 days (1050 bells per tile with 2 waterings). It's a bit of work to water tho but even if you don't it's more profitable per tile than foreign fruit trees. Blue roses take more work to make though so it's easier to start with pumpkins. You can dump the profits into turnips too and probably make tons of money. I've never profited from a trade with someone online in terms of bells/nmts (like selling on nookazon or turnips on other islands etc) as a personal restriction because I thought it'd make it less fun, and even despite that I've got about 40 mil after several months and my house paid off! As an added bonus, a stack of 3 is over the threshold for the "best" quality gift to give to a villager so I wrap up 3 pumpkins for my gifts to everyone for 2 days and sell the rest. You could probably make a patch to get 100 or 200k every 2 days without much effort. Loved the video tho, the struggle is relatable. ...and honestly thinking about it I kind of just turned the game into harvest moon with how I play lmao
Small tip. Plant like 5 money trees with preferably 10k Bells. Wait for them to grow. When every tree is fully grown you can chop a tree and plant a new one every day. Boom 20-30k a day
my steady income is shaking all trees on my island to obtain the 5 daily wasps and then i hold onto all of them until flick comes every 2~ weeks and then boom it’s like 500k+ right there ☺️ also sell extra materials you get from the nmt islands!!! iron is pretty expensive :))

Easiest way I made money was donating everything I could to the museum then selling off the rest to the fish guy and bug guy when they come. if you keep bug hunting in fish hunting in animal crossing and saving them until you decide to sell them u will prob get a lot of money like I placed 20 or 30 bugs on my beach and sold it to flick and I got 12000 (including tarantulas and wasps)

Pumpkins, you need to make a temporary pumpkin patch and water your pumpkins everyday.
Pumpkins give you so many bells... I have what I think to be a small patch and I get at least 50k bells every harvest

Diving is a very good way to make Bells. A large number of the sea creatures sell for over 1000 Bells, and there’s no concern with breaking tools.

I time traveled to sunday, got my turnips from ms.daisy-mae and then used Turnip.exchange to make some nice bells (there are also youtube videos on this topic as well) but i suggest waiting to the middle of the week (so like wednesday or thursday irl time) to get the best prices- however you do need online play for nintendo and if you don’t have that, it’s alright just sell anything and everything you can to make those bells.
- BAMBOO , make a bamboo farm! i used the flimsy axe to get crafting materials from them each day. If you head to a mystery island and it’s a bamboo island, dig up those bamboo shoots (there should be five for each island) and plant those babies. Once they grow, they’ll give you more shoots on your island so you can plant more. That is the
o n l y way to get more bamboo without playing russian roulette everytime with mystery islands. You can use the bamboo for crafting , and because it’s a seasonal recipe it’ll get you some nice bells
Overall crafting and diving are your besties, and don’t be like etce (i’m sorry😃💔) please if you go on a mystery island- colonize it and use the materials for crafting. You can stock up on materials and wait until a crafting recipe becomes a hot item, that way you’ll get more bells✨

You probably already know, so ignore me if you do, but pumpkins (and blue roses) are the best for this other than turnips imo. I have a fairly large field of pumpkins and get about 600k every 2 days (1050 bells per tile with 2 waterings). It's a bit of work to water tho but even if you don't it's more profitable per tile than foreign fruit trees. Blue roses take more work to make though so it's easier to start with pumpkins. You can dump the profits into turnips too and probably make tons of money. I've never profited from a trade with someone online in terms of bells/nmts (like selling on nookazon or turnips on other islands etc) as a personal restriction because I thought it'd make it less fun, and even despite that I've got about 40 mil after several months and my house paid off! As an added bonus, a stack of 3 is over the threshold for the "best" quality gift to give to a villager so I wrap up 3 pumpkins for my gifts to everyone for 2 days and sell the rest. You could probably make a patch to get 100 or 200k every 2 days without much effort. Loved the video tho, the struggle is relatable.

I used to go scorpion hunting when I wanted to get a lot of bells. That might be pretty hilarious to see but it can take soooo long.
I think one of the best ways to get money is catching sea creatures. If you fill your pockets you can consistently get 30,000 bells each time.
Small tip. Plant like 5 money trees with preferably 10k Bells. Wait for them to grow. When every tree is fully grown you can chop a tree and plant a new one every day. Boom 20-30k a day
my steady income is shaking all trees on my island to obtain the 5 daily wasps and then i hold onto all of them until flick comes every 2~ weeks and then boom it’s like 500k+ right there ☺️ also sell extra materials you get from the nmt islands!!! iron is pretty expensive :))

Easiest way I made money was donating everything I could to the museum then selling off the rest to the fish guy and bug guy when they come. Finish the fossils and you get so much money selling them everyday. ***after identifying what they are. Please for the love of god get them analyzed people lol
Oh and prioritize the most expensive animals of course. Collect 40 of them and you are golden for the bug and fish guy

And if you come across a lot of Wood, save it, & SELL IT ON NOOKAZON! Folks always need some wood, like seriously! And if you have a lot of it you can sell it for a lot! Trust me, made bank that way too. 😎

if you keep bug hunting in fish hunting in animal crossing and saving them until you decide to sell them u will prob get a lot of money like I placed 20 or 30 bugs on my beach and sold it to flick and I got 12000 (including tarantulas and wasps)
