That sounds like going back to the 1950s in terms of physical and mental health care generally, let alone trans stuff. So ignorant in every sense. And in a theoretically modern western state... Makes me wonder whether there are / why there aren't Europe-wide protocols that have to be followed... But anyway - you are amazing to have coped so well with that.
