As a cop I would recommend that you look at his strength and conditioning exercises for wrestlers. Every fight I’ve had has primarily been a grappling fight so there is good transfer.
The only thing not to like is that this channel only has 10k subs! Crazy that more people haven't found this!! Would love to see what you utilize for sort specific conditioning for wrestlers/MMA athletes 👌
@@GarageStrength that's great! If you need any help with anything MMA specific let me know, I'm currently doing my Master of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) and work with athletes who compete in the UFC 👊
The Indians have been utilizing club swinging for their wrestlers for thousands of years and honestly I think if something works from the past why not implement it in the present but I’d like your opinion on this
Hey man I love your videos they've helped me over the past 3 months losing weight and time management I appreciate so much but I was wondering if you could make a video about explosive workouts you can do in a small area like a studio apartment because cant do all the explosive workouts i want because of my living situation right now
@@GarageStrength i did .... And there is nothing in the spam i dont have it in m'y mail even tho i did everything i tried like 6 times for last 2 weeks
@@p4pgorilla939 Okay sorry to hear that. Can you email us gssportsperformance@gmail.com regarding the issue and we can send you the program as soon as possible? Really sorry for the inconvenience.
Yep. I really like double rope climbs, if you can do them. Another option is a bent over weighted sled pull with a big rope to work on accelerating pulls. See Julian Pinau and Strongfit. I don't like dumbbell flys or any isolation exercise instead of a compound motion. Band pulls to the forehead will target rear delts and can be very explosive. I would rather do your pull-ups more like the Army fit test knee to elbow. Place the grip on opposite sides more neutral like a collar. I believe in Mace or Gada work for bullet proof shoulders and back. Gama used it. Also, I like kettle bell snatches or bells in general. What about Bulgarian bags? My 2 cents.
I like it but we don't have duel ropes like that at my gym so I'm going to have to use the gravity machine with my bjj Gi with the long sleeves as grips
Coach, can you talk a bit about the internally rotated shoulders while doing those rows? Internal rotation causes impingement as far as I know. Even a thumb in hook punch is discouraged due to this reason.
My only criticism of this channel is not the efficacy of the exercises, it's the fact that some are not so easy to access like the donkey jumps. Maybe in future videos you could give people an alternative.
And can you also please make a video about olympic lifts you can do with dumbbells and basic strength training workouts to do because that is all i got cuz I'm a lineman training for football and we dont have practice as much cuz of covid
