- On Sunday the 12th of February 2012 the iPhone 4G captures some mini train movements around the miniature railway. This day was total fire ban so no steam engines feature in this video. © Henry Owen 2012
Of all the locomotives I wanted to ride behind at Dobwalls, the Amtrak E8 units always seemed to be out of service in the shed whenever I visited, thus I never got a go behind them. Good to see they're happily still at work way Down Under! :D
whats happened to the ex Dobwalls passenger coaches where they also brought by the Diamond valley railways along with the diesel and steam locomotives?
The "Dobwells Collection" is privately owned, not DVR property. Only the locomotives were imported to Australia.
Are most of the locomotives in this video diesel powered? I hear a turbo with some.
Ryan Hatterer
There are no turbo-charged engines in any DVR locos. What you are hearing is generator whine in the petrol-electric locos.
7 1⁄4 in gauge.
Where is the railroad
"Located at Eltham Lower Park, Eltham, Victoria (a suburb of Melbourne, Australia)" per W'pedia.
lets face it diesels are boring unless you build them the little dragons are much more interesting my little dragon is still being built long time wrong design
