Really good point. This also works in clubs very often btw. I tend to spend a lot of time preparing and cueing songs to pull of nice and seamless transitions but I go to clubs often when they have nights playing charts and pop and stuff like that and the transitions are basically non-existend or like shown here. And the crowd loves it.
Duncan Wick damn right
I've only been dj ing for just over 12 months and I did my first wedding last night. I followed your advice from this video and the dance floor was full the best part of night especially when I played some classic 80' s tracks.
Big thank you from me!
Please copyright god do not delete this beautiful video
thanks for the awesome tip, i'd always do long transitions. i realised mixing rock music in a bingo event that people only want to listen to the main melody and chorus. i just went to that part with no long mix, fade in and out
I found this video very interesting and thank you for the tips :)
Great video! Thank you so much!!!
That was top notch
EXCELLENT!!!
"you're an absolute muppet!" Thank you for that :) :) :)
Hey when did you get the NXS 2s?
+ellaskins What are your studio monitors you can also see in this video? Looking into buying my own setup, DDJ SB2 is already on my list, been djaying at a friend now for quite some time already, but what monitors should I get (for a home setup)? Maybe you could also do a video about this? :)) Thanks for all your videos
Rogen they are the QSC K8
ellaskins thanks
perfect, especially the bit at the end with the miming of the drum and beat malarkey.
First
Hi Dude, quick question. What bpm do u start a night with? Birthday or wedding
It's depend of genre that you are playing , usually pop music is definitely short transition and techno longer
That's why he specifically said weddings where 80% got no clue what you're doing and just wanna hear top 40
You can mix with 4 bars or even 8 bars at a wedding.
You can do some looooooping as well!
hei i need to write track into cd which is the best way i got confused , 1 track per cd or multiple track per cd help me
DJ GWRII do multiple and do a track list in the sleeve
