@@sophp568 Agreed. It's definitely a LOT of money. I feel like if the game ONLY sold Expansion packs and had a wider variety of items in each one, it would be so much more worth it. We'd get content less frequently, but we'd get money for our money. Stuff and Game packs are fun but they seem like a big cash grab. The content in them could be expanded on a LOT more. Some of the packs are so lackluster considering how much they cost.
I don't like that middle stair platforms don't count as legit floor (you can't move onto it from floor next to it). Also no split stairs. And Railings still can't be done just on one side.
Not quite related but I'd had the sims 4 for a few months before (I used to play sims 3 - I wasn't very in the loop then) and I didn't see updates or watch any sims RUclipsrs before and one day I had an update and toddlers just appeared and I was so confused 😂😂
Lucky. For me it didn't have pools, ghosts, basements, terrain editing, more than 3 floors, babysitters, repairmen, move objects, dishwashers, hot tubs... $60 btw.

@@raebaddings1521 I do get what you mean but, to be fair, Sims main goal is "Life Simulation" and of course with that in mind it has to be realistic in some ways, so adding religion in The Sims makes it more immersive for people. Also, The Sims already has religion-related things since their first game but it's mostly Christian and/or Catholic (Christmas). It's just a matter of time that they put other religions in.

Nothing was stopping you from making 'Muslim' Sims before except the fact that religion doesn't really exist in the game. Your comment implies that you couldn't create Muslim Sims before because there was no hijab which is obvious nonsense since plenty of Muslims do not wearing hijab. The ignorance is overwhelming.

These stairs are amazing and I like how u made that whole grand entrance. All I could think of is seeing some Sims 4 series about Royals and watching them walk down there stairs and attend a Ball that they were either hosting or invited to. Idk, it just looks awesome ♥♥
Deli the one you referred to as active is a swimsuit... I can't say I've ever seen anyone work out in them but my friends mum always has one of those on when she comes to the gym with me and my mate cause she likes to swim laps if she's working out she usually has a track suit on
Is anyone else having trouble with origin staying online?? I had to uninstall and reinstall to be able to start my update. Very frustrating but I NEED that stair tool.
I didn't update my game yet because I'm not at home rn but I have to log in every single time I wanna play the Sims even tho I always tell it to keep me signed in. This never happened before and it's really annoying because 2/3 times I don't have access to the Gallery (because Origin is suddenly offline for some reason) and I gotta restart everything.
Laura Stone mine won’t stay online at all. I have to leave the computer and origin running and even then, every so often it’ll force an origin update and kick me offline again. I tried everything suggested on EA. The only thing that has half way fixed it is downloading a previous version of origin and refusing to update it. I still occasionally have to uninstall and reinstall it because it updates randomly with out asking even with automatic updates off.
Mine glitched halfway through the update and was stuck on "finalize" for ages. Ended up going offline, cancelling the update, restarting Origin, and redoing the update to get it to work.
I forgot this came out today! I had to stop playing when I got your post notification, so I could watch the video while my game updated 💚 love you Dells. So excited to play around with the new stair tool and build/buy items!!!
I’m really excited about the Muslim content because I felt they were super underrepresented in the game and I made some Muslim CC a while ago, so I’m so glad to see that there’s official Muslim content in game! As someone who lives in a big city and is used to seeing people of all skin colours and faiths it really struck me how used I am to seeing hijabs in real life, they are so normal to see in Germany I'm ashamed I didn't realise how much they were missing from the game. In my defence though, a lot of my Sims stuff lately was Island Living surrounded and I feel like when you're so submerged and school and jobs are so often rabbit holes, than it doesn't strike you as much. If I were to see no more hijabs on the real life street tomorrow I would definitely notice.
Seelen Brecher hijab is not oppression. Please talk to other muslim people and get to know more than you can see in media. Anybody forced to do what they don’t want to do is oppression, regardless if they are religious or not. The hijab itself is not about that. But you can only know that by talking to people who study these stuff and go beyond what is being said to sale.

I sat 7 hours at my pc, with origin open and just staring at the clock. Had minecraft on my second screen, but I couldnt focus😂 I cried when I heard about the stairs, but I cried even harder when they added the bar counters!😭❤️
This last screenshot gave me old west movie saloon vibes lol That would be cool to build, those old saloons, with like, rooms to rent upstairs. Get famous even had the odd western dress from the commercial. You could get some cool screenshots from that
With the stairs, from what I understood of the sims community video was that you can have the stairs go under other stairs, as long as you have enough room for sims to walk under, you might just need to extend each flight to the next section is lower giving more room between them. that is how I understood it
I'd like spiral staircases and ability to do split levels in houses. So I can do Asian house builds. Such as Korean and Japanese which often have basements, but also have raised floors so people have a place to put shoes, etc. With those two items I can build my Dream house in the Sims.
Sims has remained agnostic and gone out of there way to avoid direct religion and holidays. I keep seeing the reason that this is okay is because 'It's a life simulator, you play yourself' and yeah? But even on their own forums, people are silenced for even saying they like the Muslim stuff. Yet they add it to their game? And what about other religions? If they're going to start adding religious items, actually be inclusive.
I do find it a little odd that you have to have room to build the stairs the way you want them, especially with bigger stair cases, but I am SO EXCITED to go back to some of my older builds and make the stairs look amazing! Thank you for sacrificing your sleep to put this video out for us Deli, you're the best! :)
I think the knee leggings might be for modesty for girls under dresses for when they are playing, you wouldn't normally see them but they might have included it for cultural modesty reasons maybe?

If you don't delete the floors in between, you can stack the stairs and it's almost like a spiral staircase

I’m extremely impressed with all of the new doors/windows. The attention to detail is so nice. Plus, they’ll look great with the Realm of Magic style!

I would argue that stairs are still very half-assed. You still can't do half of the stuff you can do by cheating in half-level.
You can always do the cheat and change the size, although it probably won’t be as accurate as you want it to be?

I do find it a little odd that you have to have room to build the stairs the way you want them, especially with bigger stair cases, but I am SO EXCITED to go back to some of my older builds and make the stairs look amazing! I think the knee leggings might be for modesty for girls under dresses for when they are playing, you wouldn't normally see them but they might have included it for cultural modesty reasons maybe?
Idk, I see little girls wearing knee length leggings alone all the time. I know my cousin wears them all the time.
