@@GauravYadav-bf7qj Better than Ponting? Ha ha ha ha Ponting is a mile ahead of Rhodes so he is half a world ahead of Jadeja! Jadeja is excellent in the in and out fields but does not have the record of Ponting in the slips or in close, especially at silly point.
@@saigopal1032 Viv was a superb fielder - I think the footage of his run outs in the 1st WC are on here, and he was deadly fielding in the ring, as well as in the slips cordon, taking catches off the fiercest pace quartet the game has seen.
I really feel Jadeja's catch was not recorded correctly by any of the cameras out there. We can see Jadeja only after he jumps.

I was at that game - seems a long time ago now but it wasn't long before the world went into lockdown.
Jadeja's catch at 7:00 is the best I've ever seen. It's a pity they didn't have more camera angles - the reverse angle there doesn't show just how fast it was travelling. Even the home fans, including myself, stood up and applauded. 16 wickets in 3 sessions was superb - the match was won and lost in one rollercoaster day.
