Being a 10th grader I can also answer to the first question Before that let me tell you I have scored 85+ in my class 8 not gonna reveal the exact percentile But from my side just stick to your school teachers if they teach you good and maximally 2 hours of study on daily basis and three hours of study on Sunday or best for an 8th grade if you go to tuition then you can minimise the time of daily and study daily approximately 1.5 hours 😅

Even the time that I told you is much great because I didn't went to any tuitions or coaching but I studied for like half an hour self study and the other time I used to do my homework only and still I managed to score a good percentile even though our school did strict board checking
