I talk about inositol in details here : • Grow Your Hair LONGER ...
    __________________________________________________________________
Watermelon has a higher content in inositol than rice. Inositol increases hair's elasticity and reduces the surface friction of your hair. Therefore, it prevents hair breakage. Once it penetrates your hair, inositol stays in the hair fibre even after rinsing.
Watermelon juice is very high in carotenoids (antioxidants) so it has a protective effect on your hair and skin. Antioxidant treatments help to protect your hair against the damage of external factors such as sunrays, pollutants, water, heat or chlorinated swimming pools. Antioxidants also help biological cells to function properly so that's why it is important to apply the treatment on your scalp for optimal hair growth.
    __________________________________________________________________
Inositol concentration (mg/g) in the following foods:
    White Rice : 0,02 - 0,17mg/g
    Brown and Wild Rice : 0,27 - 0,30mg/g
    Watermelon : 0,31 - 0,46mg/g
    Oatmeal : 0,34 - 0,42mg/g
    Tomato : 0,54mg/g
    Onions : 0,27mg/g
    Avocado : 0,46mg/g
    Okra : 1.17mg/g
    Lime : 1.94mg/g
    Mango : 0.99mg/g

And you can do all of that by using natural products like watermelon juice, okra gel, hibiscus, aloe vera, rice water, natural oils, ect. That's the message I want to pass. My mother used to use unnatural gels on her hair and it would break, now she uses flaxseed gel (based on my recommendation) and her hair is soft and strong at the same time. The right natural hair products will make your hair thrive like never before !

    Watermelon does
    Promotes Hair Growth
Arginine (an amino acid) is essential in our bodies and helps with blood circulation in the scalp. Watermelon naturally contains a lot of citrulline that increases the level of arginine and is therefore good for promoting hair growth.

@UnivHair Soleil, how often do you do this particular treatment? And can you provide us an update on your progress using it? I have been researching about Watermelon as well and just finished eating some for breakfast. I believe anything that is planted from the ground that is grown properly and we can eat, is good for using on our hair and skin as well. Thank you for sharing and although, there are many negative comments, people who are willing to take risks or do what the majority are not doing, is really on to something that can be a major breakthrough for the world.
With all the cancer causing ingredients in products from what we eat to put on our hair and skin, people should become more aware and do research because these days and times, it is a matter of life and death. I will be trying this out today as a hair mask and then I will use your method in about a couple of weeks.
I would love to see how you make the okra and flaxseed gel mix if you would not mind sharing it. I also heard that Okra can be used as part of a natural hair relaxer to use to relax the hair without chemicals.
God knew exactly what He was doing when he provided all the good foods from seeds in the Garden of Eden and on this Planet Earth. Thank you again for sharing💖💖💖

@@UnivHairSoleil3 I'd say it could be a blessing in disguise actually. I mean not like you need rice water. I tried it with a few tweaks to get rid of the stench, but I didn't need it either. It worked well still, but its not something I'd use again. Yet watermelon with the summer coming up makes a great alternative. I don't like to eat it at all, but knowing that I could use it as a rinse for my hair. Well I'd give that a try, and enjoy the scent instead of desperately trying to cover it up. Which was totally my issue with the rice water.

Watermelon purchased in western countries have no flavor because they don't have the best climate to grow it. Watermelon grown in tropical conditions e.g. African countries tastes amazing. You need to taste the real deal before you ditch it.

Noooooope!! Watermelon is TOO good to waste 😋 and I been waiting all year for it! It's about to be in season here! Rice water infuse with white tea has been working for me 🤣 (green & black tea gives me a head ache). I'll stick with that. But it's nice knowing what I can do with the old squishy, tasteless pieces if I let it sit in the fridge too long ^_^. I hear it makes a better facemask though lol.
