Two great dancehall artistes of two different era. The 80s was Yellowman's time and Beenie Man from the early 90s onwards. There are a lot of things about Beenie Man that Yellow dont like and he explained it in quite a few interviews. Yellowman has always been the king who was crowned by the people, Beenie Man is a self proclaimed king.
I enjoy listening to Beenie Man, but have to silence him on Yellowman who is a Legend and setup the dance floor when Beenie was still a BOY, he maybe a Man now, but

When Beenie was young he was a superb deejay - had some records that were absolutely outstanding and at that time not many paid attention. Look up these early records and albums! Did not like the international pop records that came out later - but that's just personal taste.
