If you have that Maple Leaf stock or the SSG10A3 stock the use the Maple Leaf RIS Rail TDC. It bolts to your hop-up mag block and it works just like the Tridos 2.0 TDC. It's also sold from Novritsch for the SSG10A3, but it's all Maple Leaf products. Mine is running equally in performance to the Tridos I had on it previously.
Last week, I performed some range tests with my VSR with an Action army chamber and tdc 2.0. I also use the Modify X-range 65 degree bucking and you NEED to try it! It out performs the maple autobot by far! Anyways, I tested different hop up adjustments, scope elevation adjustments, and different bb trajectories to see which combination gave me the longest effective range. My vsr is at the same power as yours 345 fps with a .49. I found flatter trajectories don't have as much backspin and drop much sooner thus losing a lot of effective range. I then tried a much higher trajectory (I'm not saying the bb's flying toward the sky but leaves the gun, raises 1 ft and then slowly drops. Now obviously you don't want that much over hop as you would have to exactly estimate the range and height of the bb at that distance to hit effectively. But if you turn your scope turret down so the bb's max height is 2 or 3 reticles above the cross hair, the bb takes longer to drop, and it increases your maximum effective range by a lot. Also when you shoot maximum ranges you don't need to increase your hop up by much and you can still track the bb effectively. Notice I'm talking maximum effective range not maximum range, sure your gun could hit 90 yards but it was luck not effectiveness. With this adjustment my maximum effective range (the range where it doesn't take 20 bbs to hit your target is 85 yards, and my chances of acquiring a higher maximum range are much higher. Also when shooting maximum range, lifting your scope above the target with a few more clicks of hopup can usually be more effective than having your bb fly toward the sky 10 feet above your reticle, with the reticle on the target
I’m going to try the 70° I think, I’d be interested in seeing some raw scope footage of your 65° tests!! I’ve always used maple leaf 70° but I think the x-range will fit the barrel window better in my EdGi.
Best bucking I've used so far is the Maple Leaf silicone versions. They require less hop-up adjustment and they last forever. Thousands of rounds on mine and still looks like new, no wear at all.

Great vid as always, just was curious about the flight pattern of the bb… it seemed throughout the entirety of the shooting portion you were having a curving right trajectory. Was it wind coming left to right or was it something reguarding the hop installment? If it was just wind and external/environmental variables can you confirm if it was shooting at a straight trajectory? Again just wanted to say that I loved the vid dude super happy we were able to get a larger and more detailed look at this chamber, it’s the real deal!! Thank you for putting so much time into this!
I left the footage super raw and those just seem to be the conditions. There were a few fliers at closer ranges that I can’t explain, but keep in mind that everything in the rifle is brand new. I assembled the rifle, took a few shots to try and set the hop, then started recording. For the longer range portion, there were times where the was wind at the rifle but not at the target or vice versa. You can only do so much with a bb and when you look close at shots you will always see imperfections! I am going to try a different bucking in the future. Everything has to work well together for good consistency. I think an xrange may fit my EdGi so so better.
It’s a good chamber, just don’t use this video as a good representation of a shooting test. I literally installed it out of the box and made zero tweaks. When you get everything dialed in it has way better consistency. He made a newer version too but idk if any are on the market.

I'm not sure what bucking diameter EDGI barrels are but if you are willing to open your window to 7mm I would highly recommend you give a VSR7 bucking from Begadi a try along with their tensioner. I am getting very fine adjustments with my TDC and effective hits at about 90 yards at 450 fps with .45s. Videos to come!
I disagree because the tridos is a separate nub that sits in place, so how can there be theoretically no play? Artistry has made some revisions to his unit and I can wait to test out the new model!!
@@BlindSniper because of the fitting. TO be honest i think that if you combine artistry design for the whole tdc and use the same nub design (with its fitting, no spring and all that shit) it would be potentially the best hop unit on the market

I don’t know a price set in stone yet, as he is constantly making improvements and new versions! Hit him up on IG and he may be able to have a better update than I. But it’s definitely worth the price of an AA + Tridos!

I noticed that your shots were consistent up until 12:45 when they began to curve up drastically like they were being over hopped. I have this issue sometimes. Any idea what causes this?
This was a setup freshly installed with all brand new parts, probably just needed a bunch of rounds put through it. Before I recorded the shots I put maybe 10 shots through it to get the hop close. Maybe things just need to be broken in, that’s opinion based though. I just chose to leave the footage raw instead of cutting out the fliers. Could be many things as there are many variables. I’m going to swap buckings and probably test out another chamber with a few revisions. I’ll wait until I put a few mags through it before I record a shooting test

EdGi bull barrel will fit because EdGi had them step down on each end to accommodate things such as chambers sleeves. You just need to put the sleeve on the inner barrel before you insert it into the chamber.
Old video, older model chamber, I also dropped it in without any adjustments. Sometimes things shoot great when you put them in, other times you need to make some adjustments or try other buckings. I’m also a small, sub par channel, but I’m honest. Big channels like Nov edit the footage to make parts look perfect.

the triddos tdc have the advantage of having theoratically no play on the nub, but this centering feature looks promising

Man i really hate when people use plumbers tape for an air seal. If you need that then the setup doesn’t seal well period.
