Just recently (or a few months ago already 😅) Milwaukee released their M12 version - it's a bit bigger and less blue... oh! and has two blades spinning which make a better job overall. With my Bosch i had the nasty issue with blade alignment - it's not parallel to the shoe and introduces a twist 😅 and there's no room for adjustment
Your traditional Handplane thier is NOT a “block Plane as you called it-it is a “Smoothing” plane,o/w good info on the Bosch, thanks
Good point concerning jointing boards. I wonder if a planer with a parallel guide would be precise enough for joining boards.
I dont think so, its very difficult to get it that even.
There r a few.still on clearance at Lowes who are discontinuing carrying them for as low a.$38
Thats an amazing deal!
