But I DID manage to capture it with my GoPro (the video is on my channel)! It still makes me shudder to watch it , but it's cool to have gotten the video and be able to re-live the moment! Those Tiger Sharks are beautiful, but definitely something to respect! :)

i completely agree with you about the lens,mine was blurred so i changed to the Oculus R5 Blur Fix Lens,and i`m so impressed,it has a Step Ring adapter with it so in theory you can fit any filter,it allowed me to use my old filters from my Intova and not have to buy new ones,cheers Magus

training, im 17, and had a max time of 1:12 when i started, and after 2 weeks i got to 3:40 a few months later and i can hold my breath over 4 minuets! its just practice and training :)
Was this at Stuart Cove Bahamas? Did the shark dive at that same wreck. If you can, you must do the Stuart Cove Shark Dive, it's a life affirming moment.

thats ok,,like i said originally i know of a few others that have leaked,we all can clean the door seal easily every time after or before a dive,BUT can only rinse the buttons unless you strip the housing down.the covers mentioned above remove any risk of them leaking.ty for the interest cheers
if you are serious about learning how to improve your static and dynamic apnea, just hop on the deeperblue forum online. lots of threads on there and great freedivers to help with any questions.
You don't need it, but depending on the depth it may add colour - or reduce it. Beyond 20m down, red filter may turn your image dark... about 6-7m the image will be way too red. between 10m-15m a red filter will be about perfect.
That is why I said they were freediving. All freedivers do breath ups before they go under. (inhale for 5 secs and exhale for 10 secs) for 10-15 minutes. Makes the co2 levels in your blood go up so you can hold your breath longer without your body reacting to the drop in oxygen so quickly.
I actually meant more along the lines of how they dropped the camera from the sky or if someone actually dove with it, as well as where and how the camera is mounted to Roberta when she enters the water? Thanks for the reply though!
the hero3 probably doesn´t fit in the DiveHouse, since they changed the position of the lens! But they also changed the standard housing for the hero3, which now has a flat lens, like the dive housing... I guess the new housing does the same job :)
