We Bought a Tiny Home for $1000 and Renovated It

After selling the Nanny Bus, we needed a new rig for our traveling nannies. We weighed the pros and cons to having a school bus or a van and then the decision was made when we bought a new car...
Our new car needed three rows to fit our music stuff, three kids, mom and dad AND our traveling nanny. When we bought this vehicle, we noticed it had a tow hitch. This birthed the idea to buy a tiny (really tiny) house so that we wouldn't have to deal with three rigs with engines on the road. That way, when we are not traveling, it sounded ideal to have the tiny house sit on the property so we could have the extra space if someone came to visit.
ANYWAY, this video shows a little bit of that process and thanks to CJ Rislove, we have some video footage of us converting this rig... which we did in three days and for under $1000. Wahoooo! Thanks, CJ!
