Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your show so much! I’m 58 and enjoy building fun things at my bench. I hope to find older crusty Marx and Wyandotte and even Tonka to change into Kool man cave art. I’m sorry that there aren’t more people in the comments giving you thumbs up on the stuff your building. Heading to a toy show this morning to hopefully find something under the table in the cheap bin. Thanks for what you do and sharing your techniques. Someday soon when I grow up, I’m going to get a spot welder 🤩
Maaan, but your comment is worth 1000.. thank you, I'm really glad you enjoy it. I love finding old crusty stuff nobody wants, and making it into something that blows their minds.. lol. I've been doing this type of building for about 4 years, and I'm only just getting started on RUclips. I've got a lot to share. I don't do things like most folks, but I have a great time.. Thank you very much. Hope you find some good junk today.
I have a Facebook page dedicated to these toys under the same name. Here's the link.. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057441939477&mibextid=ZbWKwL From there you can find a few groups. One of those groups is called Hunk N Junk Salvage. It's a group dedicated to buying and selling pressed steel and tin toys. We have over 1000 members and counting. Thanks for watching
Hey man, I just saw you're doing videos on here now. This was a great video and a nice build, you definitely need to do more like this. Only suggestion for you is to get some cheap studio lighting if you don't have it. LED lights where you can set the temperature, it'll do wonders for your videos. Maybe a decent tripod or boom arm for the camera. Truck looks great, and now I finally know what those bed sides are from. Keep it up. 👍
Hey man, thank you. That means a lot coming from you.. I recently picked up some good lighting, and hope to get a new camera here in the next week or so. I'm gonna step it up and try to put out a video a week from here on.. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it
@@hunk-n-junkcustompressedst1502 I dig your stuff man, I'll keep an eye out for the new videos. Don't worry too much about deadlines, as long as you're having fun doing it and staying motivated, that's what matters. Would you be willing to shorten your RUclips name to just @HUNK-N-JUNK to make you easier to find if people give you a shoutout?
@Toystorations that's definitely something to think about. I changed the name on Facebook to shorten it. And it does need done here too. I'll have to make sure there's no other Hunk N Junk name out there
So cool!! I was thinking about doing something like this on a ford nylint truck I have. That needs restored. Awesome job!! Just found and instantly sub to your channel!!!!
that is some great work.will be sharp when painted
Thank you

Awesome awesome.. Thank you
Awesome as always.
Thanks Kevin
What size rivets do you use?
I like your videos because they're real and don't have the fake rust that magickly turns in to a powder coated over priced restoration.
The Music is TOO LOUD compared to your fine voice. Enjoy the build.
I agree.. I was still learning how to edit back when I made it. I'm dialing it in tho.. lol. Thanks for watching
