Just found your video's. I've never done an advance transfer of data from Access to Excel, so I'm watching your series. Really appreciate your effort in putting these together. They are straight forward and I can get it done I believe. I'm in a new office where they are exporting a lot of Access data to what appears to be formatted spreadsheets. Your the first person to give me a clue as to how they are doing it. Sound quality was good. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing, you helped me understand the relationship between Excel and Access enough to be able to use VBA to push data from Access into an existing Excel workbook so we can capture data as our company creates estimates. This will be a huge help in leveraging historical data. Keep up the good work.
Audio is perfect. Great Vid. This is exactly what I need for my database. Now if I can only apply it my database and get it to work. I know nothing about VBA...
Can you use the transfer spreadsheet method code, if you want to transfer multiple tables to one excel document, and have each table on a different sheet in the one excel document? If so, how do you change the code to export multiple tables at once?
Not using the TransferSpreadsheet method. You would not have enough control. You can use one of examples in later videos to do that - it just takes more VBA.
I have created an excel template with several spaces into which I want to import data from MS Acess database. The amount of rows used would be of varying length each time, as the database is updated. I want to set it up so that when the data is imported, it will not overwrite the existing template with the extra data, but instead will insert new rows, and "push" the lower parts of the template down further on the page. I would really appreciate your help.
The audio is a little quiet and there is a decent amount of noise. However, overall your video is great! I really appreciate the content you're posting. It will help me out a lot.
How can i name the exported file with a name from a query result...ie exported excel file should have the result of "select description from masterTable"
We use design view to bind a form to a table or a report to a table (or subset of one). We are using the TransferSpreadsheet method in this video, it will needs SQL or a table name for the table name parameter.
Sorry, but I do not know. I don't see an option for that in the syntax. I wonder if one of the other methods in my other videos could be modified to open an existing template and populate it.

Thank you so much for making this entire series. It’s such a great help
It's a great tutorial and I find your audio quality not bad. I can hear anything you say clearly.
The sound is just fine. Content was concise and informative. Thank you!

+Kevin Collins There are some books on Amazon specifically about VBA in Access that might help.
Hi, the audio is fine and the video is great, I mean the content

Clear sounds on this end.
Great Video!
This is great! Thanks for posting. Question - how can I export multiple queries to one excel workbook? Is that possible using either of these methods?

So informative. Thanks. Is there anyway to have the created spreadsheet open for user to view instead of simply seeing the "success" message?
After you have your filename, run the code I'm pointing to with the "
Hi, Is it possible to export Report data the same way? I tried and it doesn't recognize the name of the report?
Thank you for sharing this video. i have question. Can i add date time stamp on filename like, Transfers1 x-xx-xx.xlsx? thank you

Acces Export to excel header colour was lightblack. I want another colour how to do??
Curious to know why you wrote your query in SQL? Would design view not have been more efficient?

Hey man! Thanks so much! I'm from Brasil and you helped a lot! If can I help you, just say?! Hugs...

Access Jitsu ok thanks i will take a look
