Nice reaction👍 You’re right, this is a mix between “A rock somewhere” by Jacob Collier and “The Seed” by Aurora💚💙 I absolutely love this performance, and the cry in the end hits me hard every time🥺💙 Could you please react to Aurora with: “Invisible wounds” live at NRK TV 2024 This was a charity performance. Every year in Norway we have a fundraiser, and this year the money went to build houses near the hospital for families with children who has cancer❤️ Some of these children were in the audience. It’s also a very personal song to Aurora 💙🦋
"Rock" is totally Collier and is from his recent album. The album version is up for a Grammy this year. He already had a shelf of Grammies starting when he was in his teens.
"The Rock Somewhere" is written, composed by Jacob. This was to put pressure on the Norwegian government to say NO to deep sea mining . And do you know what.. The Norwegian government said NO . Every now and then you stumble on rock that turns out to be more valuable than others. The rock named Norway is one of them.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✌✌✌
Jacob wrote ‘a rock somewhere’. He is considered the greatest musical genius of his generation. Go down his rabbit hole, it will change your life! He and AURORA share a lot, aesthetically, for sure. Their harmonizing is incredible. I weep every time i listen to this.
No this first part is entirely his song and the original recording is heavily influenced by Indian music. It's nominated for a Grammy. The rock is obviously a reference to planet earth. Sorry but Jacob is by far the greater talent and in fact the greatest of the last 50 years that I've ever seen. His concerts are magical. No he is NOT the male version of anyone. That's insulting and absurdly biased. He's uniquely an unparalleled genius hence the comparisons to Mozart.
