Going through the story of Dragon Ball, Goku's family has rarely been touch upon prior to when he met Chichi. His brother Raditz was seen only a few episodes as the beginning of the series before being lost to obscurity, and to this day Goku has failed to ever meet his mother or father, Gine and Bardock. But after Goku met Raditz in dragon ball super GR part 1, today he will finally revive his entire family, including his parents Bardock and Gine once and for all.

i honestly think Nappa passed out from the sheer shock of Goku's power display! would make sense since Raditz felt heavy in the pressense of SSJ3 Goku, and nappa being quite weak would probably pass out.

@Caleb Lofton I am fairly sure it was said that cell was in a deeper section of hell like Frieza and kid buu. (Like in GT I believe.) So.. Not sure. Also cell isn't exactly a saiyan so him being the king of saiyans would be.. odd.
Gotta say, if this was in the anime, it would be soooooo much better of a show. And is what's truly missing from the series. The emotional episodes where they have true character development. And reach for the characters to grow.
Maybe from the Earth’s dragonballs. But, that may not be the same restrictions with Porunga, Dende’s dragon balls, or even Whis. This of course won’t happen. But the fact they brought Bardock back is still weird. Would’ve been better if he stayed dead so that it would’ve kept his death meaningful

Remember that Bardock has a brother named Paragus. Paragus is Goku's uncle, which makes Broly Goku and Raditz's cousin. When Broly is not fighting anyone, his facial expressions matches Goku and Raditz's.

@@joshuajacobs3399 cooking isn't the problem, chi chi has mastered mass cooking at this point. quantity becomes the problem, since a single saiyan has been known to run an all you can eat buffet restaurant out of food. And you can't cook if there are no ingredients left.

I would love to see a Part 3 of this story. That way we'll have a wholesome, conclusive ending where everyone is happy. But the only request I have to the Part 3 is that it gets off to a bad start when Gohan sees Raditz for the first time in years.

Wouldn't be amazing if this actually happened? I mean, in the lore of Dragon Ball, almost nothing is off the table of possibilities, especially now considering Goku knows about his parents and has been inspired to reach a new level of Ultra Instinct because of the sacrifice they made for him all of those years ago. Honestly, I think I'd cry if this happened.
Holy Hell! Never been that much of a fan of DBZ. I watched it, as an Anime, back in the day. And it was entertaining... but I never went beyond that. I never bothered to think much about back stories and stuff. Nor did I really have much of an emotional connection to the series. But this episode... knowing that Goku has a mother and father, who really did love him and miss him (especially mom), it just about killed me! Really brought tears to the old eyeballs that I never thought this series was ever capable of!
Family, if there was a part three, be interesting to see gohan meeting Raditz.
Gohan has already met raditz as a 4 year old because raditz kidnapped him

Well goku is into his 50s. I assume his parents had a kid around when goku did (early 20s) then had him a couple years later. If they are still older it’s not by a whole lot

Before that movie Bardock and Gine weren’t canon, neither was Broly. Because he forgot about them for years. It’s also possible he was reminded of them, which is why he decides to bring them back. Clearly, if no one was there to remind him he would have forgot about them forever

I've always wondered why Goku and Vegeta never wished for some of the more good-aligned Saiyan to be revived onto earth to rebuild the species... i had completely forgotten about the one-year limit.
That said, it's almost a shame this is a Fan-manga, i didn't realize it was fanmade until the very end, and i was so proud of the franchise for doing this, i always wanted Goku to reunite with Radditz in a more positive manner, and his parents were an extra bonus!
Ahh well, excellent work all the same! #Family
