Everyone has a right to be paid for their work. I side with FL. Using 9/11 to justify theft is pretty disrespectful to the people who died on that day. New generation are entitled and you’re enabling them.
first of all, you don't gaf about 9/11, cuz if you did you wouldn't even comment on the situation because you would know damn well this isn't using a tragedy to justify theft. also calling theft to sharing a crack with some friends is stupidly crazy, it would be a theft if it actually affected the company, which it doesn't since the people that pirate the stuff wont buy it anyways. the people on image-line get paid even if their stuff gets pirated because they're a multimillionaire company, FL is like the top 3 daw in sells, a 13yo kid from colombia pirating their program doesnt affect their salaries
@@isabtdlr Theft is theft. Everything you’re saying is justifying someone not getting paid for their work. Whether they want to let a 13 y/o kid from Columbia have it for free is THEIR choice, not the choice of someone else. ITS THEIR WORK! Do you donate all your days off and free time to your job for free since it doesn’t affect your paycheck anyway? No one has a right to take someone else’s labor for FREE! You’re basically saying FL should work for free because they have a lot of money…wtf are you even saying right now? If someone doesn’t have the money for something, they should get a job or an extra job to save up and buy it. All the time spent making beats on a stolen program could have been spent buying it. The program is $179 on sweet water. Even at minimum wage it would take about 15 hours of work to buy it. If ppl like you can’t justify working to buy it, how can you justify FL working to supply it free? A bit hypocritical don’t ya think?!?
If you can't afford FL Studio then you don't need to be making beats right now. You need to be getting your economic situation in life under control and you don't have the luxury to sit around cooking up unfortunately. I can't even focus well when I'm making beats if I'm hurting in life. Prioritizing is necessary. Spending time making beats is a luxury. When I couldn't afford FL I went to my friends house who already had it and used theirs. It's not FL' s fault that people can't afford it. That doesn't make it right to crack it. It's like saying that since I can't afford Louis Vuitton it's ok to steal it. '
not everyone who wants to produce is a grown broke adult, most people who crack it are usually just teenagers who don't have ways to make the money (or people who just don't see the point of paying when there's a free way, and don't care if it's illegal or not because who's gonna stop us lol)
All you need to know is how to use your DAW, ppl complains about the demo not being able to reopen projects, dude...export stems. I don't listen to anything this cat says.
Worst take ever...FL Studio isn't even that expensive, and provides free upgrades for life. This guy should face repercussions for his actions. There is no excuse to rip this company off. There are plenty of free tools if you can't afford to buy a DAW... You're out of your mind with this hot take...
Idk tbh but you know how splice has a rent to own option for daws what if they did it for fl studio like $10 a month and once you pay it off you get to keep it i think they should do that and they would get a lot more sales and there would be a lot less piracy
yes but to be fair... if you're talented enough and ur parents kicked you out of the house and all you got is a laptop, really, it's a good argument, since you got no money, u gotta produce to get money to get food to not die, ykwim?
Image Line is a good company your updates are free for life and it's not expensive. Save up for it because it would be worth it. Nothing is wrong with their company. So why pirate something
Nah, they are a shady company at best. Remember that time they had a hidden fast limiter on the master track to make their daw sound better than others. They hid it until some people did test and figured out what was going on. now they have it visible, you can see in the templates.
@@mhavock This is the dumbest thing ever the limiter was on the master by default and it showed that all you had to do was turn it off if you didn't want it on.
@@christunez6340 That was AFTER it was discovered hidden, then they changed it to a track limiter. Google "FL ASIO checkbox "hardclip to 0db" which did limiting and hardcliping IN THE FL ASIO DRIVER.
No way a beat making utility tries to make the making of good beats more convenient. Next up headlining news the bpm is set to 140 as default instead of 120 because they know beginner producers would be too busy making the beat
Not sure what hes on about. Image-Line has always been very hands on with piracy. There is no valid comparison between computer software and food. It literally says on their website they don't allow distribution AND advertising of pirated FL on social media platforms. Which is exactly what this is.
It's illegal..don't broadcast piracy and expect them not to come. Also why are you making out they are poor when it costs more to get the gear to run it on. If they have enough to buy a PC or Laptop , save up..
Most beginner artists use old ass laptops they bought for 20 bucks at a thrift shop, or got a hand me down laptop. that's how I started. The argument of "don't pirate because your gear cost money" never really made sense tbh.
@@aro7975 What a great way to keep underground music production alive, tell starter artists they suck. This is such an ironically stupid opinion, This Egglo kid literally incriminated himself publicly for clout and you as a person that made a career for himself using FL are trying to make him seem like a victim just to pander to a bunch of dumb people that don't understand why that was a really really stupid idea. I would assume a large portion of us that now own a legit copy of FL have used crack versions prior to being able to afford a legit copy, But the majority of us had the common sense to know it was technically illegal to do so and would keep it on the down low. Although I understand why people use cracked versions of software if you are going to f*** around, You're going to find out.
FL studio is by far the easiest and most efficient DAW out there with the most user and 3rd party support.. Each have their own plusses and minuses. To act like type beat makers move numbers is hilarious. You don't even have enough data for this, music has only been made like this for 10/15 years. This game been around for decades.

FL Studio is 179.99. You mean to tell me that they cant let $200 go from their check 1 time? or save $100 twice in one month? Its a 1 time investment. Cheapies don't need to make beats if they can't do that atleast.
What does it matter if someone pirates with "evil" intent or not? The outcome is the same and then on top of that share it with a friend? They don't owe ppl access to their service, come on with the entitlement.. Also, you really believe they then go and buy the full thing one day? Doubt it..
I feel like you kind of missed the mark on this one. How would you feel if I came across a link to all your paid courses and packs for free, and posted about it on twitter or a relevant subreddit? I wouldn't be the guy who uploaded your content, but I'll be the guy who spreads it. Even if I only reach a handful of people, they will spread it onwards to their handful of people and it'll spread super quick. By cracking down on people who knowingly spreads pirate links, they're sending a message, and I think that's more than justified. The old "you wouldn't steal a car" DVD warning is super over the top but gets the point across. If you can't afford a car, you don't go steal a car. If you can't afford the software, you'll simply have to wait. The base version on FL studio is 99 USD. Regardless of what you do, that should be more than obtainable. If you do pirate it; spreading it on a public platform like twitter is the dumbest thing you can do. If you can't afford it, use bandlab if it's free (not familiar with it).
Image-Line saw bro and said "we gon give you a tragedy of your own" 💀 Jokes aside, it's common sense to not go openly talking about pirated products in a public setting as this is what will happen, companies do NOT play around with people openly distributing pirated copies of products, like either pay for it or just be silent about it if you're gonna sail the seven seas (even with the latter option, you'd have a harder time trying to get the most recent update as you'd have to constantly wait around, so I'd just recommend buying the product whenever you possibly can as the lifetime free updates are more than enough to prove their worth over several other competitors).
Users are complaining about buying a daw, but you want to start charging people for beats or sample packs. These companies need to make money also. These kids need to get a job, and work for it. No excuses with that or the resources to make beats in general. Lots of free stuff available.
If you can't afford FL Studio, you can't afford music production, simple really. I can't afford a Ferrari but I don't just take it upon myself to let someone else steal the keys so I can take it for a ride.
@@SuperAgentAB A perfectly valid point but clearly in the subject matter here it is not what these people are choosing to do, if they did I wouldn't be having this conversation with people.
@@Azurantine81 It's not really theft, more like an intellectual property infringement at best. A piece of software isn't a material good that can be taken from someone. That sort of comparison is a classic scare tactic spread by agencies. It's a weak argument, think harder about the difference between stealing a Ferrari and downloading cracked FL Studio.
I respectfully disagree with a lot of this, no offense, but sharing crack links on Twitter leading to an account banning is something that happens daily. You're increasing the reach of the crack, when those cracks are all located on several websites. The only misstep is their response, where they should have just copystriked and moved on. I am a bit worried this is a BandLab sponsored video.
I bought FL Studio producer Edition as soon as I had the chance (7 years ago and I ain't rich) I didn't even have a computer yet?. Best investment ever tho If I can do it, so can you. The power user argument seemed like BWB was just salty about being removed. But then when Nick Mira didn't come up, but Simon Servida did, I was like ok, that's wild.
People forget about FL STUDIOS FREE TRIAL. Like bruh what is the point in all of this when it gives you access to the FULL daw and ALL the plugins. Catch being you can’t reopen saved projects. But if you’re smart you will only produce 1 song at a time and export it without closing, which can even be nice if you are really adhd and can’t finish projects due to constant new ideas making you start over repeatedly. This is how I started out and once I could afford it I bought it……. 200 and that is soooo more than worth it as an investment. Not a lot compared to ableton or even a ps5 lol
I was introduced to FL and found it so awesome. I bought the fruity edition, and used it for a year. I later upgraded to producer when they ran a promotion. Im about to upgrade to the signature bundle now. I find their pricing to be the best, epecially considering their lifetime updates. No company is as generous guys. How did the user post such nonsense on their account? How does one get so deceived to think they can help everyone with an illegal download link?? Even poor people have no right to do illegal activities. Its that simple. Why would you bother with FL when there are free DAWs out there? You cant threaten a company that has brought so much valuet to the marketplace like FL. Why are there no such complaints against companies in other industries like clothing, cars etc? Beat makers should pull their heads out of their 4rs3s and wake up to reality. The market place is for those with services/products and the means to exchange for that value. As usual, Americans always throw tantrums when they see some company outside the US doing so well. Apple vs Huawei & Samsung/ Boeng vs Airbus etc. Stop this shyt.

I used pirated FL for many years. I got back into music production recently and am now an adult with money. So I bought the all-plugins edition and actually own it. The all-plugins edition is an absolute STEAL for what you're getting. The cost of the DAW and all plugins is the same price as some single purchase synth plugins ffs
They made it easy to record the plugins. Then when I made an album I bought the whole version and got every flex update because I know others will do that.
I'll always remember the time Sonny Digital mentioned how he initially pirated FL Studio when he first started out, but once he made it big, he made sure to go back and purchase it.
When I just started using fl studio I never have money to pay for it, but now I buy it and how I get to buy it my girlfriend gives me the money to pay for clothes and I buy the fl studio 😅
Weirdest logic by Busy Works. Entitlement. Emotive and rightfully so, but to think you should be able to take someones' hard work they paid for (companies and everything else costs), freely, is just plain ridiculous. Search for free DAW, there are some. Sorry, I've always liked this channel, and will continue watching it. But wow?
FL Studios piano roll is unmatched and if you actually have talent and no music theory and have the skills it's a great dog is it and it gives you like every approach you can think of to work from and the price is absolutely the cheapest from what I have seen outside of free
Using 9/11 and then bashing the software company that essentially made you, "you" is diabolical work. Then to try and tie racism is very sad bro. I'm very disappointed in this channel. You are helping foment a toxic culture FL is literally free now and you still got a problem. Everything doesn't need to be pirated especially on a company that offers lifetime updates and stands on it. You also sound very butthurt about not being mentioned as a power user this sounds more bitter and personal. Hi. I don't think stealing is a good thing. Do not compare it with hungry people, for without a music program you can live. Not only that there are other not so expensive DAW and even free. It can be compared to the fact that you saw a nice jacket for 1000 bucks on your neighbor, went to the store stole it, but you say that you just took it to wear, for a while:). I'm not an attorney for any company, but you can't just steal and expect everyone to approve of you. I suggest comparing these situations to yourself. So your car was “taken” for a ride without your permission, your stuff and stuff. Would you compare such a thief to starving people?
I pirated from 1999-2020. Then I bought a producer license. Bought a few plugins, then just upgraded to all plugins. Producer was $399 at the time and all plugins was $800. Probably spent $1000 all together. It is the only software I feel is worth the price. Free updates.
Hey Busy Works Beats. Thanks for raising these very serious issues. You do it because you care and you have a clean heart. I will raise these issues directly with Image Line management.
These people who usually copy the software aren't entirely poor with the exception of high school students but they could convince their parents to spend a hundred bucks to get it just like they do when they convince them to buy video game and most of them are using a computer or a laptop which cost at least a hundred bucks or more vacant afford $100 to give FL Studio for a legit copy
I had cracked fl dont remember which version but it was years ago. I used it to make some crappy loops as I wanted to understand more about music production. Few years later I decided it's enough, as I wanted to share my stuff, so I took extra shifts at work and got legit product some time later. I mostly take music as a hobby and didn't share much; mostli I send some stuff to my friends and whatnot, but knowing I have a legit product and can do whatever with it gave me, like, confidence/reasurement that I'm on the path I wanted to be at. These days if one aspires to make money of music I really don't understand cracking software. At least buy a licence when you get some money, there are people where even base FL key can be expensive, I get it, but bragging about projects you did and saying 'LOL look I got new cracked version' is lame af. As sidenote; I get it, 9/11 can be viewed as a bad date to tweet sth ike they did but tbf if we took all tragic events that we memorize there would be few to none days when this would be apropriate. With all respect, I get it, this was a little lack of awarness, but still, it shouldn't stand as a major point in your argument against FL's tweet, that's all. Much love to all, peace.
I quit making beats because i used a purated fl studio download. I was seeing other "producers" roast artists for not being able to afford beats while using pirated beat making software. I just did some side hustles to get the money to buy the first version of FL which is only like 200$? I believe might be 300. I swept up and helped clean local stores for a quick 10-20$, I helped people clean their yards. I went out of my way to go and ask people if they needed help with anything at all as a free agent for hire. I also did not debate pricing. If they couldn't pay me 10$ I'd take the 5. It's not hard to do these things. Sell something you don't use anymore online or do a block sale.
Everyone has a right to be paid for their work. I side with FL. Using 9/11 to justify theft is pretty disrespectful to the people who died on that day. New generation are entitled and you’re enabling them.
first of all, you don't gaf about 9/11, cuz if you did you wouldn't even comment on the situation because you would know damn well this isn't using a tragedy to justify theft.
also calling theft to sharing a crack with some friends is stupidly crazy, it would be a theft if it actually affected the company, which it doesn't since the people that pirate the stuff wont buy it anyways.
the people on image-line get paid even if their stuff gets pirated because they're a multimillionaire company, FL is like the top 3 daw in sells, a 13yo kid from colombia pirating their program doesnt affect their salaries
you must not care either because you are responding to a comment that has nothing to do with 911
@@isabtdlr Theft is theft.
'
The thing is that people want to use it because other people use that as well. That said, there are free alternatives that can do the same thing.
not everyone who wants to produce is a grown broke adult, most people who crack it are usually just teenagers who don't have ways to make the money (or people who just don't see the point of paying when there's a free way, and don't care if it's illegal or not because who's gonna stop us lol)

Also your 9/11 take is garbage...I can't think of a more ridiculous comment...
ngl, the free updates was enough for me to get the producer version of fl on Christmas three years ago, and i've been happy with it since.
Idk tbh but you know how splice has a rent to own option for daws what if they did it for fl studio like $10 a month and once you pay it off you get to keep it i think they should do that and they would get a lot more sales and there would be a lot less piracy

fl studio already offers a free trial that's wayy better than any other daw's. give fl their flowers for all they done for the scene.
Image-Line saw bro and said "we gon give you a tragedy of your own" 💀
Jokes aside, it's common sense to not go openly talking about pirated products in a public setting as this is what will happen, companies do NOT play around with people openly distributing pirated copies of products, like either pay for it or just be silent about it if you're gonna sail the seven seas (even with the latter option, you'd have a harder time trying to get the most recent update as you'd have to constantly wait around, so I'd just recommend buying the product whenever you possibly can as the lifetime free updates are more than enough to prove their worth over several other competitors).
Hey, whenever you make future tutorials could you also record all of the keys you press so we can further understand the process and hotkeys?

People forget about FL STUDIOS FREE TRIAL. Like bruh what is the point in all of this when it gives you access to the FULL daw and ALL the plugins. Catch being you can’t reopen saved projects. But if you’re smart you will only produce 1 song at a time and export it without closing, which can even be nice if you are really adhd and can’t finish projects due to constant new ideas making you start over repeatedly. This is how I started out and once I could afford it I bought it……. 200 and that is soooo more than worth it as an investment. Not a lot compared to ableton or even a ps5 lol
You sound smart but are incredibly dumb.
Why play by the rules?

Man I agree with you 100%, no body will ever use the cracked if he could afford the paid version
