Thanks for the close-up shots & confirming it doesn't rock when on its back. Been a user of this style of case for years now & have been considering this for the iPhone 13.
Great review bro! I had the first gen case on my iPhone 11 for a couple of months and I loved it and had to get the new one for the 13. I knew everything about the product already but your review gave me a sense of realism and assurance.
Loved this review, great mic recording as well! Personally I was surprised with an iPhone 13 by army sister a few weeks ago and I was so desperate for protection I bought a case at Marshall’s for it. For reference I had the Gen 1 from 2018 on my iPhone XR and never replaced it. Anyhow I feel what you mean by its hard to go back to full protection, I hate it so I just ordered a flex case yesterday without checking reviews for it! After your video im glad to say I made right choice, thanks man!
This was an excellent review, you've earned a sub! I liked how you showed yourself dropping the phone as well, proving its claims. I've ordered one prior to watching this video and im now even more excited for it to show up!
@@brandon_caleb I agree with all your pointers in the video. I just got mine in the mail today and I absolutely love it. Coming from a Pitaka Magez case, i can say the carbon fiber on the back is very comparable to Pitaka in terms of its quality. Magnets are just as strong as Pitaka's though I think they're equally strong and not one more than the other IMO
I paid $42 after taxes and it took 1 day to ship and 3 days to arrive. I live in Arizona. Good review!! I agree about the side plastic things. Total garbage. But, the case itself is solid.
@@money5018 I’m annoying with cases and always have to find just the right one… it got a bit harder this year since the 13 is thicker… I put it on and haven’t been able to go back to anything else. Closest you can get to one handed use for it. I’ve dropped it hard lol and zero issues. I don’t like the side gaurd protectors…. I got a Dbrand skin (carbon fiber) to add grip to it (you lose a bit of the button sticking out but was nice in the hand)
Got mine today I want to add the side stickers but I feel like it is just to much of a hassle for little protection. I mean it would not take much for something to poke through the stickers. Right?
Thanks for the informative review. Just bought it for my iphone 12 pro max. However, I failed to install the side protector.. really difficult to fit in 😅😅
I regard to mag safe- does the case have additional magnet inside it? Curious how strong they are. I’ve been using the gen1 rebel case with the 4 metal pieces in it (before mag safe was a thing) and I use a generic long car magnet mount bar. It makes contact with 2 of the 4 metal pieces in the case and holds great. Going to upgrade to this probably and curious if you think this MagSafe will hold strong enough. For reference the magnet I use in the car can be seen if you Amazon search: “wix gear 10 magnet”… appreciate the input !
I do not think so. I have never used a lens protector for my camera for my phone EVER and it has had little to no damage. Plus, in my opinion, lens protectors makes your phone look kind of ugly…
You must be extremely unlucky to brake a lens especially with such a case. I just use a screen protector and dbrand skin on the back. Dropped it once on gravel which absolutely would brake the rear glass and it protected it fine, lenses took no damage. So I don't worry about them. Not impossible that they get damaged but very unlikely. The steel edge protects them well in 99% of drops. And the glass is hard to break.

Thank you so much! 🙏
Phenomenal, most through review yet. Just put my Flex case on with the side protectors. Not sure I’ll ever go closer design ever again.
Appreciate it! I hope you enjoy your case😄

Very good review based on real world scenario, great storytelling as well. I enjoyed it very much, thank you!
Thank you for the feedback! 😊😊😊
Wow great review I use now got to other cases and always come back thx! Subbed for the personal real real review.

I literally did the same thing 🤣 ordered before the reading reviews
Excellent review. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! 😊
Adding a dbrand skin on the sides Make this case perfect. I got one on Amazon that covered the camera too. Did carbon fiber
I love the line drawing animations lol.
lol, thank you! That was the highlight of my editing process 😂
great review!
great review man! i wanted to ask, how much did shipping cost and how long did it take?
Thanks! Shipping was free (I live in California), and I only had to pay an 8-9% tax. It only took 3-4 days to arrive

I love it man such a good case. Especially makes the 13 pro max more one-handable
Yoo i got the max too is the case worth it ???

@@joshuanolan4581 so pretty much worth it huh? I like holding my phone with one hand so i guess this case is kinda worth it

Yep. Exactly why I don’t use them lol, and they collect so much fingerprints

We all failed to install the side protectors, don’t worry 😅

The case only has the MagSafe array magnets inside it, unlike the previous cases which had both MagSafe and Phone Rebel’s own array.
Is it necessary to use a lens protector?
