P.S. The *bass* will warmly greet you right on the spot on TRIGGER (시발점 - starting point) after an inhale and exhale from the intro, Umu! Thank u for this! ♡
@@LUCIFERCIERIE calling Blacking artists is literally ignoring the definition of the word. They haven't contributed to making their songs and they haven't contributed anything but vocals to their discography.
The background trot music are from actual songs. I dunno much about it but it was explained in dkdktv’s channel. I think itll help intl fans to understand the song lyrics wise as well? Trying to help 😅 😄 I enjoyed the reaction though (as usual)!! Even though i dont get half the things you guys are saying, stillenjoyed it
I understand you guys thought and this song is not that hit compare to other solo kpop artist. However this song is meaningful that used traditional melody so called BBONGJJAK ( mostly korean elders loves ) that well. Very impressive

I don't have any professional knowledge on the musical chords or notes, whatsoever, but this song is so refreshing like, the mix is so original...like I would this to be performed by Mino with an orchestra.
I think what people like about this song actually is Mino's unique voice and vocal and rap melody Like everybody were mostly paying attention to how he pronounce words these melodies were really special and attractive And so maybe this is why you wasn't surprised because you've listened more to instrumentals
[Music wise] The *bass* will warmly greet you right on the spot on TRIGGER (XX MINO Track 01: 시발점 - starting point) after an inhale and exhale from the intro, Umu! 😂 But thank u for this FIANCÉ reaction! 🤘Really appreciate it. ♡
Umuuu and Keviiin, try to listen to TRIGGER, ROCKET and/or AGREE from *XX Mino* album. Actually, *Trigger* would be enough. ♡ The *bass* you're looking for is definitely there, right on the spot after an inhale and exhale from the intro. 😂 You don't have to react, perhaps just listen. 😊💙 Would love to see your reaction to the *bass* and *MINO's flow* though. 😁 Thank you and have a good day ahead! :)
I think yall conclusion came from a place of ignorance on the Korean culture as well as closed-mindedness on how far artists can take music in a contemporary way. Yall seemed to focus too much on "what music is supposed to sound like" and "musical rules" and not enough on culture and experimentation. but that's my opinion from this reaction.
Ikr, the male reactor focused too much on what he thought it could have been but he barely considered what mino is trying to go for, I appreciated umu atleast since even though she thought it was not that great, she still considered that it may be what mino is trying to convey to the audience.
This channel barely reacts to any yg artist except akmu and blackpink so i think mino's music is not their cup of tea. ofcourse this is just my opinion.
True they were like music should be made in certain way like hello he is not just an “idol” he is an artist who makes music to convey his feelings or message one doesn’t need to follow music rules or whatever
@@yglove8138 Yeah but to be fair they are analyzing the actual music not necessarily the meaning. Obviously they are studying music and when they are analyzing the music based off music theory they learn in American schools there are a lot of rules.
@@gabby127_ Yeah but it's quite sad since I thought this song really has this kind of unique tone and the genre itself is very different from what you usual heard from kpop
The traditional music, as people are calling the sample Minho used, is a genre of Korean music called "Trot" or 트로트. It's similar to Japanese music genre of "Enka" or 演歌.
He is in fact sampling “Soyangang Maiden,” originally recorded in 1969 by trot singer Kim Taehee.... (close to traditional...the genre originated in 20th century I believe, after Japanese colonization)
only YG can do this kind of music very well, fusing traditional instruments, music and scales with modern trap hiphop, ex. Boombayah -Blackpink, Anthem -iKON, MTBD -CL, Like Ganada -AKMU, Niliria -Gdragon....
우무가 한국어 알아볼 수 있나 모르겠지만 이 비디오 주제는 고구려 유리왕의 황조가를 차용한 것 같음. This video theme maybe from the poem by the king Yuri who was king of Goguryeo Korean acient kingdom. He wrote Hwangjoga for his second wife who back to her contry forever.

Wait how do you actually pronounce mino,,is it like “mine-no” or “me-no” or ???
I know, DKDKTV kept pronouncing it as "mine-no" for some reason. But according to the way Mino spells his name in Korean, it's clearly "mino." Here: 민호 is his Korean name. Type it into google translate and listen to how it's pronounced.
His birthname and stage name are both pronounced me-no but everyone calls him mine-no from time to time, even his own members
actual pronunciation is me-no but some of his friends call him mine-no
His real name is Minho (like the shinee guy) But his stage name is also pronounced as Mee-no as I've heard on variety shows
Could we just stick to the pronunciation MINO...like MEE--NO..
