I am Danish , and i must say that you are very well informed of really many things about Denmark , and when you sometimes use Danish words , you pronounce them very well .👍👍👍
The first rule when dealing with the Multiplicity (Kommune) is to assume that the person you are talking to might not know the laws or the rules. I just reminded the Aabenraa Kommune that according to Danish agreement and laws, Icelandic citizen should be treated like they are a Danish person. I need to apply for a deposit loan for the apartment I am applying for and when I get it (when is a ???). The Danish Media Licence is going to be paid with the taxes from 2022. Meaning that the last payment of DR Media Licence is in 2021. It took me a long while to learn that Danes treat their CPR number way more serious than Icelanders do (we got a similar system, but use it way more freely than Danes). I made mistakes, but thankfully not serious ones (I hope). I prefer to use the NemID app today rather than the key card. It also helps with recent key card theft out in the mail boxes in Denmark. No card to send me in the mail when it runs out (mostly, I have it as a backup). I don't think work permit* is required for EU citizen because of free movement of person in EU. *In the visa permit world that is a different document...because rules.
If You buy a car or motorcykle, You have to insure it ( ansvarsforsikring) . This insurance will cover, if You are at fault in an accident. Kasko will cover the damages on your own vehicle , but is optional, unless its financed by a bank. Most people covers home and family, by insurance, but also health and work . A-kasse, in the union, is partly an insurance for having a better income, in case of loosing a job.
Also if you bring a car, you have 3 months to have the licens plates changed to Danish plates - and pay a pretty hefty fee. Though it's less than buying a new car.
I was thinking of moving to DK but this video did put me off. I have been living in the Netherlands for 7 years and moving here seems a lot easier for a German. Will probably decide to move to Belgium instead - I don't need to apply for permits and I still have euro. I watched like 4-5 of your videos, very informative, thanks a lot :-)

NemID is necessary to use Ebox. You kan get letters from private companies in your Ebox too. Instead of that NemID paper card with all the numbers you can buy an electronic thingy with a button and a small display. A max of 15 minutes is best in most cases. This one was important and could have been longer if necessary. Everytime you intend to say "France" I hear "French". 🙂🤷🏻♂️ Great videos!
On March 16th 2018 a political agreement was made to gradually phase out the licence payment. hi Margaux, we are going to emigrate to Denmark on short notice. We need a rental home stay at first place to register and are trying to buy a house. Do you know if it is possible to register as a new comer in a holiday home or do we need a regular house for that?
Hi "Franch Woman", thank you very much for the information in this video. I'm Italian and I also think of Denmark for job opportunities, especially in Copenhagen. In fact I have some reservations, some doubts: 1- obviously I don't speak Danish, so English is enough? 2 - when is the best time to move to denmark? 3 - If someone is not that young, are there much less job opportunities? 4 - Is the search for a job, a rent, with this coronavirus problem, more complicated? In which way? Is the situation more difficult if someone is not vaccinated? or irrelevant? thank you and...bye!
Hi :) 1) english can be enough in finding a job although it can limit your job opportunities 2) probably to wait for this covid situation to blow over 3) Depends on how "not that young"? but i don't believe so 4) i think the job situation is in stand by position so as mentioned above if you add only speaking english to this , it is possible that it could take time to get an opportunity. That results in making it hard to find a place to rent also. I don't think vaccination is that relevant at this stage, not everyone is vaccinated put even if they are they still need corona passes (neg tests) for a lot of situations. Check the job section of the citizen website : www.borger.dk/arbejde-dagpenge-ferie

So... What's your experience/opinion on NEMID? As a dane I personally hated it, to me it just seemed like yet another government issued nuisance. But now, and especially after the app became available, I actually think it's great.
I think it’s great , the internet is so not safe when you think of it so especially when you do important personal things it’s good to know you don’t have to worry as much ! 😊👍🏻 but i didn’t experience it before the app 🙂
Hi , thank you for the informative video :), maybe you will know: Im thinking on moving to Copenhagen but im not an EU citisen , my son is....do you think i can move there and get a work permit?
Yes & No....originally (before the Internet and similar), you paid it to own/watch TV or Radio, all the money went to the "Official danish TV/Radio" at the time there was only 1 TV channel called Denmarks Radio (DR), it was called that because it was originally only a Radio Channel (way back in 1925, in 1928 it also included TVs). But as technology and the Internet came, and more people stopped having TVs started watching streams, and similar the Govement could not justify getting the money that way, so they changed it, to the way Margaux descriped it. So they changed to any device that can receive a radio or TV signal, that mean every device that can go online. There have been a lot of critique of it, and suggestions for moving the "tax" (which it more or less are), into the "Finance Act", the main argument against that is that it would make DRs news funding vulnerable to political interference if they got to critical of the Goverment, so by seperate them it would insure that the DR coverage of political news impartial. I hope this makes sense, if not please ask again and I'll try and explain it better. In Germany they have something similar called Rundfunkgebühr.
The medialicens should be phassed out by next year.._ luckily.._ i always hated it... Before it was for tv and radio and i could understand that...But when the Internet took hold thay included it in the licence... I don't understand why.._ i don't watch tv or hear radio and definitely not online either.._
Really ? I didn’t know that ! But as you say luckily 😅🤪 lol. They were supposed to make the bridge between Fyn and Sjælland free after it was built but hasn’t happened yet 😂
The main reason for it, is that DR & TV2 would be ensured to get their money no matter who is in power and what kind of news coverage they do of the Goverment. If you include the licence into the "Finansloven" then the Goverment can chance how much money they get to fund the TV stations. Just to clarify this is not my personal opinion but what the arguments are behind it.
The last payment for Media licens is in July. IIRC its down to around 300 kr now, it use to be 1200 kr every half year. It will be as said phased out by the end of the year. I cant say what happens if u move here between july or the end of year. U might have to pay it in part.
