Gosh I'd say they are like siblings but that's a lie, neither lovers...They're just soulmates and more importantly family 💜 The fact that their relationship is a core to the show is amazing. Since the pilot I have wanted Dutch and Johnny to get together. When I saw them in bed together in the s4 finale I literally fell of the chair. I know they are not themselves but I really hope s5 is their season it would make all this suffering worth it. I love the song in your video 😃
I really love how they managed to create such a powerful bond between these two without making it sexual. Not saying it would ruin the show but I think it’s something really unique and interesting and it just works so well. I find killjoys is a story which doesn’t have the greatest of plots but while some shows may remain good despite a poor plot the characters in killjoys are so phenomenal that it is still a great show despite a somewhat weak plot.

Extraordinary edit! Thank you. I just finally finished watching season five and am hurting a bit that Dutch and Johnny's friendship didn't become romantic. People talk about romantic and platonic relationships between potential partners as though they're opposite things. Untrue. Most romantic relationships fail. More than half of all marriages end in divorce. That number is higher if you consider non-wedded partnerships. This happens for a lot of reasons but a big one is that they never establish the deep friendship needed to weather all the storms of change. The bond between Dutch and Johnny isn't beautiful because it's platonic; it's beautiful because it's beautiful. And rare. Davin is a great guy but he's the conventional choice. She'll never feel understood by him the way she is by Johnny; he'll never truly get her. Their relationship will break up by the time they're in their forties; most likely long before. Only with Johnny can Dutch have the kind of deep, life partnership that will nurture and protect them both through all the times, good and bad, ahead. Dutch and Johnny belong together. I hope by the end of Johnny's year long sabbatical they both realize this.
Very nice video thank you. In response to the comments: I honestly don't get why everyone is pushing for these two to be together romantically. Their relationship is so much more than that and forcing romantic love into it honestly feels strange, and in a way undermines their existing relationship. My favorite part about this show was that they didn't do the love triangle thing. That even though Dutch became romantically involved with D'avin her love for Johnny didn't change, and they didn't end up fighting over her the whole show. Even all the way in season five it is clear that Johnny is the most valued person she has. I don't know. I personally think Johnny and Dutch were great the way the were (before the cosmic bitch messed with their heads).
Hey beautiful video. I really ship them as a couple but, am okay with them just being friends. From one editor to another I think this a work of art. This really captures the feelings they share for each other. Bravo look forward to more videos of them in the future.
