- The first four coho I caught this morning (11-11-2021). I landed about 10 by 9:00 a.m. Upon checking the phone, I was bummed to see the storage had filled up about halfway through the hot bite. Here's a taste of the action. Still caught three chrome fish in the mix.

I appreciate not making spots too obvious and can make this video private. I'm just new to the area and my friends and family back in Michigan have really liked me sharing my experience this way.
You catch fish everywhere .im jealouse .im from washington and take full advantage of the fish we have .
Nothing better than a spinner bite man👌
Geez buddy, NICE Salmon!! What a tank. Love watching this catches in water like that. Do you fly fish??
Thanks! No, I don't do much fly fishing.
That was an amazing video man. Glad I stumbled on your channel. You definitely got a new subscriber here. If you don't mind me asking, was this in Oregon or Washington state?
Thanks! I was in Washington. Hope to get more videos up soon.
Nice👍👍👍
Are you fishing the rapids or the far bank? Water looks really fast for coho but I guess they were there !
I was casting to a pool of slack water on the far side as far out as I could cast. I wasn't fishing the rapids. I wouldn't really ever fish a rapids section.
@@CarsonPrichard that's what I thought!
Nice video bro what river is this?
Thanks! Since this river is not one of the larger rivers, I'm going to keep quiet on which river it is. But it's no secret river by any means.
@@CarsonPrichard I'm from San Diego just lookin for a spot to fish..got ya
@@donaldstephensen8654 go to Vancouver island you'll never want to leave
Nice ! What spinner / color do you recommend ?
What's been working has been #4 Blue Fox either all silver, or silver with pink body. Also, black Arctic Spinners.

If you were going to release the fish, why didn't you keep it in the water instead of letting it thrash around on the rocks?
No hate BTW, just feel you could have been a little more careful. You seem like a good guy and a good Fisherman, I have watched a few of your videos. I recently started using a rubberized net to land my fish so that I can keep them in the water and release safely. Just a little food for thought. Seems you guys have good runs there so you may not be as worried about the fish, but here in bc we have limited amount of fish and have to take extra care and make sure they get to the spawning grounds
Good suggestion. I don't even carry a net when I'm keeping fish. From my experience, it's not worth the hassle dragging it around. But, I come from Michigan where the banks are sandy, not rocky. As far as considerations go, they are 90-99% hatchery fish. I used single point barbless hooks that day knowing I was going to release most are all. Ultimately, if we had what's best for the fish in mind, we wouldn't poke em and pull em in the first place.
@@CarsonPrichard fair enough man, totally get it. Cheers 🍻
Someone’s fishing on the beds……
What?
@@CarsonPrichard what I assume he is talking about is beds.... that salmon make to spawn. they just swim there to protect there roe. So they can be "stacked" in there but for spawning reasons.
