One Day is my favorite. It just has that feeling of maturing and going it alone against the world, it was the perfect opening for Marineford.
Yooo that last scene with Luffy and Ace... It shows Luffy doubting his dream and then Ace pushing him, telling him to keep pursuing his dream 😭

A character that appears in the song "Crazy RAINBOW" that does not suit this work is "Tackey & Tsubasa", a Japanese male vocal unit that sings "Crazy RAINBOW". They're not One Piece characters, they're real people,😊
Also the actual opening doesn't have them in it so not sure why this version is in here

@@Silver82b this is my second time seeing this OP, because they actually show this one on German TV like YEARS ago and never again and I was so confused on who those characters were and I was never able to find this one opening until now.. 😂

On the point with Shanks, the average readers don't know this but in the manga, there is always a character introduction pages at the start of the volume so you can get a review of the characters and Shanks is always on the pages with the strawhats

The 10th OP (We Are Remix) is definitely one of my favourites. Such a love letter to the entire series up until that point.
they really really need to put the whole We Are (eng dubbed) into the live action , even if its just instrumental version

I thought they were either filler character or maybe edited character inserted by the subtitler (the second one being my first thought)
It’s pretty funny how well they fit in that it almost feels natural seeing them hanging out with the crew.

The reason why the second opening sounds like a DDR song is because it's basically a cover of the eurobeat song 'Dreamin' Of You' by Lolita.

How can we not cry at these openings, they bring back many memories, including those of our personal lives, things we experienced in better or worse times, there is no way not to get emotional, cry, smile
so cool to see you guys finally watching the opening songs. i grew up with the pre time skip music and so its really crazy to me that guys haven't seen them til now, but i get it was done to avoid spoilers
You guys are almost caught up with the series. Man I wish I could watch this series for the first time again lol.
It also serves as the music video for the vocal group Tacky & Tsubasa, who provided the song. Therefore, it may have been changed when recording the disc or exporting this anime overseas, so it is a version that can only be seen in Japan.😊

He had that tattoo before meeting whitebeard, so no. It's a tribute from sabos letter that said he was setting out to sea. The letter had a crossed out S. That was sabo jolly roger

I love the spoken word intros and they make the One Piece openings feel so unique. Watching all these openings brings back so many wonderful memories and I love them all. Op 4 Bon Voyage is probably my favourite if I really only had to pick one. I think it just perfectly captures the themes of adventure and friendship in One Piece! Op 13 does such a good job capturing the stakes and tension in Marineford and Op 14 does a great job with the healing process and feeling hopeful again.
Openings 13 and 14 have a nostalgic feeling, always i cry when see them but too they are my favorites 😢

It hits different when people who actually enjoy and consumed one piece watch these openers for the first time. Too many posers watching the openers without watching a single episode.
The "pop" "We Are" version and the next song after that was sang by TVXQ/DBSK. It's probably my favorite version.
I watched One Piece when I was 8 years old, to be precise in 2005, and when I saw this opening I immediately teared up 😢, very nostalgic 😢

Fight Together & One Day are my two favorite songs out of ALL One Piece openings, to this day. Nothing can beat the feels of those two openings. There are a few really good ones between 14 - 25 (27?), so look forward.
Edit: I also highly recommend the ending songs. Some of them are very good as well, especially the ones that focus on Robin.

An interesting fact about OP2 that not a lot of people know and maybe why you think it sounds DDR like is because it is a Cover of a Eurobeat song called "Dreamin' of you" by Lolita and even funnier is the Funimation Dub version of the song references the original eurobeat song in the first line.

Don't know if anyone has told you, but the We Are version with the straw hats singing it is the opening for a bunch of episodes after the scene where "I want to live" happened.
OP8 & OP13 are my favorite One Piece openings.
OP8 is unique and relaxing, OP13 is the most touching one.
OP1 is probably the most famous one.
They need to react "Memories",the classic ending track of OP 😭
They have to watch it, especially when see certain chapter in the future
