Ingredients Used
1 Lemon box cake mix
1 3.4 oz pack of Lemon Jello pudding
4 eggs
2/3 cup melted butter at room temp
1 cup half and half
1 tsp fresh lemon zest
1 tsp pure Lemon extract
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
For the glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon Juice
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients and mix and follow box instructions for mixing. Bake at 350 F for 40-45 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out clean!
Allow cake to cool down completely and drizzle the frosting all over the cake: allow go set before serving: enjoy!

I always thought lemon flavorings were too strong, but you make this so interesting. A must try.🇧🇸
When I make this delicious lemon pound cake, right before it comes out of the oven, I mix a box of powered sugar & half a cup of lemon juice(maybe a little less), then while the cake is still in the pan, pour this mixture over the hot cake & let it SOAK into the cake. After the glaze has soaked in the cake, turn cake pan out on to a cake plate. Be ready to fall in love with this tangy, lemon cake.😳
The cake looks so nice and I just like the way the final outcome looks so moist and fluffy.

Hey Mansa, the widowers in my church love this cake. It is called a 7-up Cake
1 box Butter cake mix
1 box instant lemon pudding
10 oz cold 7-up
4 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp lime juice
Preheat oven to 345 degrees
Mix all ingredients. Use butter to coat inside Bundt pan. Spray lightly with pam. Use sugar to coat inside of Bundt pan. Pour batter into Bundt pan. Pour batter in pan. Bake 40 minutes until the cake is golden brown. Remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes. remove from Bundt pan.
While waiting for cake to cool make below lemon sauce.
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup boiling water
1 tbsp fresh lemon peel
2 tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp butter
2 egg yolks
In saucepan add sugar, corn starch and salt. Pour in boiling water. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. After mixture thickens, remove from heat.Add butter, lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir well. Remove from heat. Beat egg yolks in separate bowl. Temper yolks into mixture on stove. Stir well and serve with cake.

Maybe you’re adding too much butter. Lightly butter the pan and then go in with flour, shaking off any excess. Thank you for watching
