Hi Mendel. I'm sitting and listening to all those guitars. Went through the video like 4 times already and I can't stop being distracted by how awesome the bass sounds. :D It's so thick and massive!!
Dude, I bought the Mark Lewis pack for my kemper the moment you posted that video about it, no regrets! I must admit though, i kinda wish I had tonehub with it now though.
@@Saslmlcha Oh really? thats good then :D i think the main reason i'd like tonehub is purely for the ease of use, reamping quad tracks with the kemper can be quite time consuming lol also because I have an issue with one of the nightmare profiles, when I activate the distortion it starts getting this odd beep, but it only does it on that one profile, fault in the profile maybe
It's close for me between Mark and Rob. I like the down picking for both pretty evenly. The pull offs sound better on the Mark pack but I like the chord strumming better on the Rob pack. The rob pack doesn't swallow the bass as much to my ear which is cool. I think overall the Mark Lewis sounds best.
Funny as that's basically the conclusion I came to as well. I think the mark pack is best overall, just a little bit clearer sounding and things don't feel to get lost at all. The rob pack does have a nice aggressive sound that I like as well. The other two fit pretty well in between those two as well.
I love the Mark Lewis pack. I have a bunch of packs, but his is my go-to pack from day one. First pack I bought after demoing Tonehub. For my main guitar, the Rhodes Colossus, and the Diezel are my favorites, especially together. Fat as hell!
Mendel, when only double tracking guitars, would you also combine patches L + R? Had been a neural guy but Jesus, these packs sound thick - gotta demo the tonehub now in my mixes
I wish they would just have you do the commercials for everything. I would never skip ads and by a lot more stuff. You could be selling bananas and just play a riff and then I would want to go buy bananas.
When mastering do you give the masters back to the artist or keep them? Do you charge for them? I'm about to start recording bands but have no idea what to do with the masters once the songs are finished.
Awesome tones! Especially Lewis+Middleton 20:22
TBH, I shouldn't be surprised thatI loved the JM pack the most, I love the setup of his sig ltd. Once again, an awesome tutorial dude.

I have both and the kemper one sounds way better

@@Riffa22 I have this with every preset when I use my custom made booster. The Kemper has a pretty poorly designed input stage imho....
@@Saslmlcha all the comparison I see sound very similar between tonehub and kemper. Would you suggest me to buy the kemper?
@@phantasma669 yes in this video sounds same but is not so before you get disappointed buy the kemper ones instead
Fryette is the old “VHT” amps you are probably familiar with, there was a branding issue in the early-mid 2000s and he changed the company name.
Sounds grea! So many packs to choose from!
Welcome to clarity and great riffs! Great video and playing, new follower. I have to play more with MB.

Hey Mendel, Great video also i using Mark lewis s pack also thats awesome!! btw whats your latecy settings?
32-64 before mixing, 2048 while mixing.
@@Mendelian sounds amazing!! whats that model brand?
@@orcunozcan First generation UAD Apollo Twin
Solid track. Sounds sick. Have you tried the Lasse Lammert preset packs? They both have some incredible presets
Love that pack as well!
Sounds awesome👌 got the Mark Lewis and Josh Middleton packs after watching this. What midi bass vst did you use? Sounds great
Awesome stuff! BTW, do you use any Unison preamps when going into your interface, or is it a 100% clean DI? Any issues clipping without a Unison pre?
Hey dude! No it’s pure clean DI, though i’ve had great results using the UAD 610B over my Kemper signal before going in! Just a tiny bit of eq!

Hahahaha thanks for the kind words!
I'm paralyzed. Richardson, Middleton or Lewis?

You mean the stems like drums, bass, guitars and vocals?
@@Mendelian i mean the actual finished product. The files for it. Not the stems but the final mix.
I’m not sure i understand: But that’s the thing they pay for right? You mix and master it and they get the WAV files: that’s the product.
@@Mendelian ty. I havent started charging. Just doing it for fun right now and was just curious. Ty for helping :)
Mendel what string gauge do you use on your 6 strings?
13 to 56 for riffs, 12 to 52 for solo’s: B standard and drop A.
Everything sounds very compact and brutal. What battery library you use? sounds great
With battery library i think you mean drums, i use Toontrack Superior drummer 3 with Death and Darkness expansion pack.
Probably a stupid question - How do you hook this up from your computer to your guitar amplifier
You don’t, you plug into your interface which goes into your computer: The plugin = the amp.
@@Mendelian So you use the computer speakers -what is you have a FRFR and how do you use it if playing live
