I think that this is about the coolest gag I've seen. My salute to Mr. Woods for taking the time out of his schedule to bring memories to a few of golfers in an unexpected way. Thanks Buick for creating such dreams to come true.
Matt Liuag Its because during tourney's he is serious, so you don't see much 'animation' out of him when he's playing the real competition. The only time he can actually relax and be normal is when he's not prepping for a tourney or in one.
Gosh, that is such a good commercial. Tiger seemed accessible and light in spirit. He seems aloof and cold. I guess the media hounding him changed the person he once was. It would be good to see that part of him again.
i was one of the guys that won...it IS real. We had fun...tiger played a few more holes with us then we all went out to dinner later that night. Tiger paid and was very professional.
Are you kidding? Kids 22 years old with 2 majors under his belt with numerous other victories, he's getting young kids to watch and play the game, he may not be the next tiger, but he could be you never know but he's doing great stuff for the game
Tyler Dodge Me too man. I never thought I would say that either, because when he was dominant I didn't particularly like him. I am thankful I got to see him in his prime.
I played one of the par 3's shown here at Alaqua Lakes in Fl., they have a sign posted stating that "Tiger Trap" was there....even that was a thrill !!!..knowing Tiger actually played the hole.
Rich people who don't need more material things getting a fuel-inefficient automobile from an obscenely wealthy man by hitting a ball around a clear-cut forest turned into a cloned grass field. This is depressing on so many levels.
***** I don't care whether it's public or private, people that have the time and money to play golf do not need charity. And my point that that the land would better serve everyone as a forest remains. As for your putting money in the economy argument, it's a fallacy because by that argument digging a hole to nowhere is putting money in the economy. Something has to promote long-term growth to spark the economy. This cheap car advertisement does nothing other than entertain nimwits like yourself for a few minutes in return for brainwashing you into buying their car (ie advertising).
nanor It's people like you that A) watch the video and B) need to understand the principle of life not being fair. The reason why the economy is screwed is because the government became TOO INVOLVED in "making up" jobs and providing for people that cannot provide for themselves. This is assuming that you live in the united states and if you don't then I guess this argument is null and void. I have the time and money to play golf, yes I am still in school and I have to budget my money to do so. I plan according to my earnings when and if I will be able to play because it is a HOBBY, just like knitting, cooking, "shopping" for some people, etc. YOU are the reason this country (once again assuming you live in the USA) is so full of pussies now-a-days.
nanor dude, golf really isn't THAT expensive.... It's cheaper than some other hobbies out there to be honest. I'm only 15 and can afford a high end set of clubs, a membership at a course and still have a fair amount of my earnings to do whatever I want. My job? I'm a part-time waiter working two days a week. It really doesn't break the bank if you're good with your money.... It annoys me when people stereotype others into certain social classes just because they have certain hobbies....
TheIdeasOfASimpleton You seem to have missed my point. The "I can do whatever I want with my earnings" approach, while technically true, leads to things that screw society over. So just as it's your right to do whatever you want with your money (pay someone to have a tree-cutting competition in your city for example), It's my right to bring this to your attention so that maybe you can see the error in your ways. If you used your earnings for something that wasn't so wasteful, there would be many benefits, both to you and to future generations. Possible benefits to you: there would be less dumb advertisements on TV, there would be slightly more green space near cities. There would be a greater diversity of life, which could lead to drug discoveries for your or future generations. My point is: if there was no golf, the world would be a better place. And regarding your use of the word stereotyping: I am not stereotyping you as as person. I am characterizing your hobby as one that is wasteful and destructive.
You can't expect him to be all joking and buddy-buddy with the fans when he's trying to concentrate on playing professional tournament golf. Tiger Trap was a casual promotion for Buick, so he was able to relax and let go a bit more, but when he's in the middle of a tournament you can be damn sure his mind is only focused on one thing, and that's winning. Tiger's fierce demeanor on the course is part of what makes him the best golfer to ever play the game.
Top-notch video. It reminded me of why I don't like to exercise. Exercising is a waste of time. Everybody eventually dies. But because of the number of people who fall for exercise propaganda, and the actuarial table being what it is, a few may live outlive the average lifespan, thereby increasing revenue for the government. In all fairness, it should be pointed out that some smokers make it to 90 plus years. Not only do I get bored and irritable watching people exercise, but also rather tired.
It became known as "Tiger-proofing" because the media called it "Tiger-proofing." Everyone is hitting it longer now due to advances in equipment and because they're more in shape (thanks mostly to the way Tiger trains.) Courses are longer because everyone is hitting it farther. If anything, "Tiger-Proofing" gives Tiger more chances at winning because he is one of the longest players out there.
I'd be like sod that I've just had a private challenge with TIGER FRICKING WOODS !!!! This man changed the way the world views golf and set the way for the likes of Westwood and mcllroy!!!! TW is the man!!!
That is just a glitch in editing. I heard a radio show on CBC that this commercial is simply a way to get 'authentic' reactions from people when talking about the Buick. Great marketing!
1:16 Golfer: "i'm a little nervous" Tiger: "what you you nervous for?" Golfer: "don't know, got Tiger woods behind me" Tiger: "would you rather i stand in front of you?" favorite part of the video
Actually, when Tiger first turned pro he used titelist clubs until Nike could get some built. He has been playing Nike throughout his bag since 1999. As an amateur he used Mizuno equipment though.
meeting a man who has, like him or not, made history in one of the most popular sports of all time would be a memory that would last a lifetime, as well as a story you could pass down to your grandkids. In comparison your stocks would crash in a year. if your lucky. Still, who the hell wants a buick.
"Why are you nervous"
"Probably cause I have tiger woods standing behind me"
"Do you want me to stand in front of you?"
I died when Tiger said would you like me to stand in front of you?!!!!!
Springtrap Fazbear y
RIP Mima
@@Nosmas17 ........?..
RUclips algorithm 2019: wanna watch tiger give away old buicks??
Me: yes plz
if i was tiger i would have done this every day dude
Where’s my Buick Rainier?
I loved this commercial. One of my all time favorites because I actually couldn't really stop laughing at it, and Tiger was fun to watch.
This is what makes Tiger Woods the best. His sense of humor, he isn't arrogant, and not to mention the greatest golfer of all time.
Just amazing.
So proud of Beverly
we all know he missed on purpose for big B
+boomshizzIe I would shank the shit out of the ball if I got Tiger watching. Beverly showed some nerve man
Tiger sounds a lot like Jerry Seinfeld lol
lmao idk why, but that comment cracked me up!
lol
I was just thinking he's like the black Seinfeld
"Want me to stand in front of you?"
I think that this is about the coolest gag I've seen. My salute to Mr. Woods for taking the time out of his schedule to bring memories to a few of golfers in an unexpected way. Thanks Buick for creating such dreams to come true.
don't think I have ever seen tiger so animated and lively. what happened?
he's in the fucking zone on the weekends
Matt Liuag Its because during tourney's he is serious, so you don't see much 'animation' out of him when he's playing the real competition. The only time he can actually relax and be normal is when he's not prepping for a tourney or in one.
women...
Matt L roids happened
Christopher Drake or when he's with the ladiiies
One of my favorite Tiger ads, so good, I hope Tiger can win the masters this weekend!
ahh 2006, the days where you could shoot a higher pixel video with an etch-a-sketch
Gosh, that is such a good commercial. Tiger seemed accessible and light in spirit. He seems aloof and cold. I guess the media hounding him changed the person he once was. It would be good to see that part of him again.
This was fun, and yes it makes me miss the old Tiger. He needs to probably dispense with Foley's services.
you called it
Games yea hes doing so much better now XD
Before i watched the video I thought i would just watch it to get it off my recommended list but when i watched it i actually enjoyed it ;)
2:42 absolutely brilliant camouflaged cameraman
landypaule bahahaha
bad editing ?
Tiger has such a great attitude he learnt his success maybe its time for him to do things like this again!
why doesn't tiger appear and offer me a buick when i'm playing?..
@Here's Johnnyhell yeah...I'm jelous
That is such a beautiful thing, Tiger rocks, Buick rocks....you guys made the best day of their lives right there.
At 2:42 one of the "hidden" cameramen comes into picture... Such a fail, jeez.
Lol, I woulda never noticed that, awesome find
Vilhelm Nordström no dude it’s bill Murray
Welcome back tiger...
We missed you....golf missed you...
2006? holy cow
Tiger’s laugh at 3:15 is absolutely hilarious to me lol
I just hope this was at the public links and not some stuffy private club haha
Love the loyal woman to her friend who says : go Beverly! Go beverly! 😀
A wild Tiger Woods appeared
That guys reaction at 2:30 when tiger hits with the left handed club is just gold.
i bet beverly got even luckier after the cameras were turned off.
Ive watched this a million times and it never gets old
This is so old....
Beverly thick
Find someone that looks at you the same way that guy looks at tiger at 1:50
Did anybody else see the hidden camera guy walk by at 2:40?????
yea i did ay.. smells like a set up???
Hillbilly Barber ya really fucking setup. I'm disappointed.
Drew Miller omg he sure did!
Tiger woods you are the MAN!
nuff said.
I hope you win the masters tomorrow.
womp womp
Is it advertising? Yes. Does it put a HUGE smile on your face? Hell yes. All advertising should be this good.
Damn I miss the old Tiger
i was one of the guys that won...it IS real.
We had fun...tiger played a few more holes with us then we all went out to dinner later that night. Tiger paid and was very professional.
I miss Tiger
I own a rainier and there still such a nice car. Mine has the V8 like this one and it’s powerful. It rides like a dream
Tiger not being dominant anymore has really hurt golf. I'm sorry but nobody wants to tune in on the weekends to watch Jordan Spieth.
Are you kidding? Kids 22 years old with 2 majors under his belt with numerous other victories, he's getting young kids to watch and play the game, he may not be the next tiger, but he could be you never know but he's doing great stuff for the game
+nolan quirk he's amazing, but there's a difference between how good he is and how much people want to watch him.
Jordan speith is the man, but I miss tiger
Tyler Dodge Me too man. I never thought I would say that either, because when he was dominant I didn't particularly like him. I am thankful I got to see him in his prime.
I watch it for Rory and his unreal swing, and Phil for his short game, still love it!
A 5 minutes well spent.
Back when Tiger had no ego.
You know nothing. Don't believe everything you hear on the media.
I played one of the par 3's shown here at Alaqua Lakes in Fl., they have a sign posted stating that "Tiger Trap" was there....even that was a thrill !!!..knowing Tiger actually played the hole.

I want to hit you

Who'd want to drop him from the list of sponsored personalities? This dude is awesome!

"I´m getting nervous though, I´ve got Tiger Woods standing behind me..."
Tiger: "Do you want me to stand in front of you?"
Tiger is the best!
Whenever I'm playing golf with my dad, and he hits the ball on the green. I shout 'THERE YOU GO BEVERLY'.
it never ceases to amaze us that no matter how many times tiger trap airs there are always flies lining up to get caught in his web
" if you were aiming for the pin then why did you hit it past the cart path over there." Tiger woods is a straight savage
Tiger wood just seems like an all around good guy. I love this video lol
Changing people's lives has many benefits to our world, keep doing it Buick and tiger with others love it the tiger you never see... fun.
I love this Buick Commercial/Contest!!
It's the best.....their reactions are so honest and funny!!! Tiger is cool as always!!!
This was a great promotion..Makes me want to drive a Buick.
You can tell this is when he was having fun playing golf.
If only he could still be this fun loving guy....
You can't expect him to be all joking and buddy-buddy with the fans when he's trying to concentrate on playing professional tournament golf. Tiger Trap was a casual promotion for Buick, so he was able to relax and let go a bit more, but when he's in the middle of a tournament you can be damn sure his mind is only focused on one thing, and that's winning. what a nice genuine guy, and what about that shot with the left handed club, genius
Top-notch video. It reminded me of why I don't like to exercise. Exercising is a waste of time. Everybody eventually dies. How cool is Tiger Woods, I'd be stunned if that ever happened to me lol
this video came out when i 4 months and 6 days old
Well I never would've had the opportunity to win since I don't wake up early enough to play a round before noon!
oh, absolutely. i love tiger. he's my golfer. i'm one of those people that watches golf purely to see if anyone will beat him.
Some of the luckiest people ever. To get a chance to tee off with tiger woods. PRICELESS...
Watching a video like this I realize I still really like Tiger, hes the man
2:34 is one of the coolest things i've seen a golfer do. tiger is amazing
It became known as "Tiger-proofing" because the media called it "Tiger-proofing." "I am a little nervous." "What are you nervous for?" "I don't know I got Tiger Woods behind me." "Do you want me to stand in front of you?" CLASSIC
Somebody tag Tiger. He needs to remember better days!
That was awesome, I enjoyed watching that. Tiger Woods is the man.
damn i miss the old tiger woods, he had so much energy and personality
I'd be like sod that I've just had a private challenge with TIGER FRICKING WOODS !!!! This man changed the way the world views golf and set the way for the likes of Westwood and mcllroy!!!! TW is the man!!!
what a joy to have this guy around just watching his skills are amazing
Tiger's swagger was off the charts
I laughed so hard at the random camp guy who walked right by them lmao
"Want me to stand in front of you?" best line from tiger.
That is just a glitch in editing. I heard a radio show on CBC that this commercial is simply a way to get 'authentic' reactions from people when talking about the Buick. Great marketing!
a lion would never cheat on his mate, but a TIGER WOOD!
Back in 2006 Tiger had a personality that he allowed himself to display.
Tiger you are amazing. Great job those people lifes were changed that day.
Awesome.. They should do this all the time
It's a reverse image clip. The carts are also pointed the other direction. It's the same right handed wedge.
"Why are you nervous?" "i don't know i have tiger woods standing behind me" "want me to stand in front of you?"
i love how tiger hit the ball with a left handed club
I feel like I'm discovering an ancient artifact of the internet.
I wish he still did this stuff
Which pixel is Tiger?
There you go beverly haha best line ever
1:16 Golfer: "i'm a little nervous"
Tiger: "what you you nervous for?"
Golfer: "don't know, got Tiger woods behind me"
Tiger: "would you rather i stand in front of you?"
favorite part of the video
I came across this again and realized.... My dad is in this.
Double Great Surprise!. This is just my dream because no Buick brand in Jakarta
Im nervous..
Why are you nervous?
I don't, maybe it's because i got Tiger Woods standing behind me..
Want to stand in front of you?
LMFAO
hes gifted and has trained so much in the sport. imagine he first swung a golf club at 9 months old. Is he using a wedge for all those shots?
"I'm a little nervous"
"Why"
"I dunno, I got Tiger Woods standing behind me"
"Do you want me to stand infront of you?!"
lol
I love when Tiger Woods is happy
Actually, when Tiger first turned pro he used titelist clubs until Nike could get some built. He has been playing Nike throughout his bag since 1999. As an amateur he used Mizuno equipment though.

If i would be as good and as famous as Tiger i would be doing this on my spare time.
Tiger is an ICON. THEY MADE A PLAYSTATION GAME ABOUT TIGER . I DON'T LIKE HIM BUT HE IS THE GREATEST EVER.NICKLAUS CLOSE 2ND
