Great! Using Spectrum to demonstrate how the Drum Buss works is genius! Exactly what my nerdy mind needed to grasp to understand how it effects the harmonics.
In my opinion, this video explains it better than the official Ableton video, it's not too short or too long, it's all well balanced. thank you so much! 😌👏🧑🚀
I’m still going through your videos but they are such a great resource! Super helpful for you to go through each Effect on its own. As a beginner I’m left confused when I go through other Ableton tutorial videos where they touch on the effects briefly (understandably so though). Thank you for the work you put into all this!
I absolutely LOVE your vids! Your teaching style is pure perfection. These tutorials are perfect for both beginners and advanced users alike. Well done.
Great videos! Thank you! One thing - where would you put Drum Buss in effects chain on an individual track? I go for: EQ (cuts), Saturator (flattening peaks), Compressor, EQ (boosts, maybe), then creative effects. New to Drum Buss's 'does it all'... paradigm, I'm not sure where it fits in, and/or what it might replace in the chain. Thanks again. Respect...
Thank you for making these videos its such great info and amazing techniques! PS: i don't know if its just me (or my speakers or something) but the wavetable sine wave stuff really hurt my ears and it was hard to hear what you were saying over the ringing; sorry for complaining i just thought you should know in case other people had problems.
I need an answer off topic. Whenever recording an audio track in Ableton Live, eg. Vocals, the clip gets recorded slightly off grid if the monitoring is on in Ableton Live while recording the clip. Why does this happen? For midi notes it's just fine.

This is great! The way you explain and show with the spectrum analyzer reminds me of musictechhelpguy who has been doing a series on Logic for years.

Hey Lina, I heard you can use Drum Buss for tuning drums, is it accurate enough with it on the spectrum or I need to adjust a bit? Thanks in advance!
yes you can add sub frequency to it with a certain tone, but I also recommend tuning the actual drum sound as well :)
can you do a video on ableton corupus please? :)
A new follower here :)
Yay welcome to the channel! ☺️
If i solo my hi hats, drum buss is adding clipping to them that makes my kick loses power (yes i have EQ my hats) ! An idea to fix this ?
Awesome!
Thanks ☺️
Is this available in live lite 10?It's nowhere to be seen on audio effects folder.
Sorry it's not in Lite version :)
Thanks so much for showing this... couldn't find a decent vid until I saw yours...
Yesss happy to hear that! 😍
