      Yay! Also I have watched this series of cheese making… Are the Thermo & Meso Cultures the same for every cheese? If so how do you get different flavors in the Cheeses? They all seem to have the same ingredients. Or is it because different Cheeses were heated to do temperatures? It’s all so very interesting!

    • @TheHappyHomestead
      @TheHappyHomestead  Год назад

      The cultures do help with the flavor profile of the cheese. It also depends on what type of milk used, how long it's aged (which means how long the culture has to develop the flavor), what temp it was initially brought to and how much whey has been removed. All of these factors are what give us beautiful cheese from around the world.

    Wonderful step by step video. Loving this collab and thank you for showing us that its okay that life gets hectic and the cheese will still be okay. These videos are making me want to venture into cheese making and didn't realize how easy it was and that it just takes time. Can your cheese go in to the freezer or does it not freeze well? Also thanks for showing the book, I will be adding that to my list as well. Thanks again for a great video!!

    This looks less time consuming than some cheeses, so it might be better for a beginner. Would you say it is a mild cheese like farmers or havarti? Thanks for this video.
