Oh, GV. What a beautiful video. Such a heartbreaking story. I can't imagine what they went through and the loved ones they left behind! 💔 Thank you for leaving the flowers.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You're helping their stories and memories live on. And the flowers are an awesome gesture! ⚘️👍 Watching from Nova Scotia, where the seas here have also claimed countless lives. Take care, Pete
Hello again, thank you for sharing this video. I had never heard of the tragic tale of the accident you told us about. I have to admit that it brought a lump to my throat and I shed a tear. Leaving them a flower was a beautiful thing to do, may they all rest in eternal peace.
Sorry to come into this a bit late. I was so touched by the way you and Sue paid your respects to the men and their children. It was so touching. Thank you for the kindness you showed them. Thank you for all you do to keep memories alive for the future. God bless and keep you both always. ❤❤
Oh, how sad a story to lose that many children along with their Daddys. Many more lives were affected by the stormy results. You can almost hear the angels crying with this. It was beautiful to see the flowers placed on each grave; something so simple that meant the world to those families. Thank you for a heart wrenching video, done with profound respect. 😥😢☘️🇮🇪 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
How horrifying for the children. I almost drowned when I was 5 I will never forget how scared I was. God Bless and keep them close. This is how graveyards and cemeteries should look. Even inside the fences the grass is cut. Loved this video.❤️
This brought tears to my eyes. So sad how these precious souls had to die, yet,so beautiful of the love and respect you and Sue showed. Im so certain these souls smiled down upon your kindness and respect for them as the roses were layed. God bless you both for shari ng this. From Oklahoma U.S.
This is a very well kept cemetery, nice to see this respect. On the stone of sailors 1916 had William Wiseman , my son-in-law is a Wiseman , my Daughter ordered him a wedding band from Ireland. Hum I will send this video to her. Thank you for this beautiful walk .
A beautiful yet tragic story of loss of life, hats off to sue for placing the roses in memory of those lost ,keep the videos coming as they alert us to the trials and tribulations of people past .May they all R.I.P,👏👏🙏🙏👍🇦🇺
Beautiful video 😢thank you so much ..I love all your videos. I watch faces of the forgotten with Ron …and you are the Irish equivalent…I love both channels .
Beautiful old church and graveyard. It is great to see that the grounds are very well cared for. I am guessing that the church is still in use. Very sad story about the drowning victims, thank you very much for telling their story. I am glad that their graves and headstones 🪦 are in good condition. May they rest in peace 🙏 That was a very kind gesture on your part, placing those flowers 💐 on their graves, thank you. I must admit, to being curious about that barrel collecting rain 🌧 water 💧 at the corner of the church. Thank you very much GV and Sue for a great walking tour, and telling a very sad story. Have a great week ahead. 😀
Very nice video and thank you so much for sharing. The cemetery was very beautiful and so was the church I would love to see that in the summertime I bet it is beautiful.
Drat! Missed you again GV….don’t know what utube playing at…I’m not getting notifications for you now!😢 it was Sue before! Thankyoi for telling us about this terribly sad story….so many drowning deaths back in the day. I live along the coast in North Norfolk, and have found several old graves in cliff top churchyards dedicated to sailors drowned after their ships were wrecked. We have an old VERY VERY HEAVY lifeboat in the RNLI Museum, and I don’t know how those brave men managed to launch it AND THEN row out to rescue the drowning sailors in it. Incidentally, I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve been told Sailors used to have at least one gold earring in an ear, which was meant to pay for them to have a Christian burial if they drowned and were found. Maybe other viewers have heard of this? This is such a sad story, all those mothers and children left behind, losing their loved one and provider. Thankyou GV…you told a sad story very respectfully and beautifully….not letting them be forgotten. I honestly believe it helps them in spirit to hear their names being read out aloud, letting them know they truly are NOT forgotten by us. Godbless you and Sue Cathal…love and light, Helen xx🙋♀️🙏💐
@@GraveVisitations I think he is a long haired cat but they shaved him except for his head...looks like a grumpy lion! Thank you for the chuckle! You should do a "caption this" with his photo!
Grumpy Cat. May it rest in Peace. That one you showed looked like an owl’s head on a cat’s body! Such mourning must have happened that day. 😢 (The pilot should have brought two children back, not pigs). 😮 We got a ride on Sunday in Ireland by a Priest who said he had the most Irish of all names: it was Father Patrick O’Flaherty. Every ride we got that Sunday was from Priests. 😅❤
This certainly is a well kept cemetery RIP to all those who drowned and to all within the cemetery. On another matter, I believe that cat was a Persian cat and shaved down.

Just after seeing your post the High earth some of the Graves have is because they are shallow ones less than 6ft so it had to be built up
