I still remember the big tall old guy with the funny walk down Hoxton market who pulled the stalls out in the morning and the Jewish butcher with one arm. We laughed and joked about them as kids growing up in the 70's without knowing the sacrifice and struggle of war veterans. " During the War " was met with a derogatory reaction when used, and it took many years to realise how lucky we were to have grown up in peace. We all have a duty to install in our kids/grandkids a understanding that these sacrifices must never be forgotten, otherwise how can we expect future generations to have the love and care of such marvellous structures like this infused with endless hours of detail and expertise be preserved for as long as possible.
ANn excellent set up. Travelled Hells Highway earlier this year as well as seeing a lot more many sites that were part of teh operation. Well done.👏👏👏👏
That's a brilliant setup - a great idea to run the game on a table that wraps around like that - must have taken a while to build all that, I'm sensing some career wargamers have been thinking of doing this for a while?
