✠ - Lied eines Tambours - ✠ (piano transcription)

Here is a Lied written by Börries, Freiherrn von Münchhausen in 1916 and published in the Gedichtband "Schloß in Wiesen" from 1921. The melody was composed in 2009 by Jürgen Sesselmann (Mayer) and it can be found in his own CD "Abendschatten" from 2011 (I've simplified it a bit).
The ending scene is from the German film "Unternehmen Michael" from 1937.
