- I survived 24 HOURS as a Fisherman in the Indian Ocean! I can’t believe I actually did this..
When you’re a fisherman, it's all about life at sea; for this we spent a day with the fishermen in Kerala, India to learn more about their life and how hard they have to work to provide for themselves, their families and their communities mashAllah.

I was having a hard time at my job and i don't know what to do... I was clueless... I came from a long bloodlines of fishermen, located at the island called Dewey Island in Bais City Negros Oriental (Visayas) Philippines. The ocean is our main source of income from fish to salt and seaweed. I remember when i was a teenager, we left from our houses at 5pm and return back at 3am in the morning for Net fishing. If we got lucky enough we bringing lots of fish from our catch but sometimes we will return empty handed. But still we always thanks to our creator for having his guidance from the bad elements and disaster in the ocean. And we say better luck next time 😂.
