Omggg whattt ! I can’t believe my eyes rn 😮. Why are y’all just letting these girls drop these babies like this !? They didn’t even help her up! If y’all don’t make these girls hold some push ups , run , or something ! They have no instincts to catch them because they know there are no consequences, pleaseee teach them how to properly catch their flyers and if they still don’t do it there needs to be consequences! This is so dangerous and careless on account of the coaches and the bases. There’s no reason the flyers should be hitting the floor like that. Absolutely no reason.

No one is catching the flyer, she is going to get hurt and trust is going to be loss. At my gym when we drop a flyer not only do we get yelled at and lectured but we run and condition and sometimes even stop stunting for the day until we learn to catch the flyers. These girls need discipline and need to learn to catch the flyer wether that includes drills or not stunting at all.

at my gym if a flyer hits the ground and your bases aren’t on the ground themselves you run until the flyer feels better. it makes you catch your flyer even if you’re gonna get hurt, because they will get hurt worst if no one breaks their fall.
Do you think I'm could be a flyer? I'm 5'4 less than 100 pounds and really balanced once in the air! Oh and also 11
@@xoxo_maya23 it is true being shorter and weighing less makes it easier to be a flyer. but i also believe you could be around 5’7 and 130ish just depending on your bases and their strength. there are cool videos where you actually see really tall and muscular men in the flying position. so i think anyone could do it. BUT the key to being a flyer is flexibility and balance. if you’ve had the opportunity to be held up 6ft high on one foot while swinging your leg from back to front while whipping your head to a beat and don’t feel like falling, i’d say you’re pretty well balanced! flexibility wise you need to make sure you can do heel stretches, arabesques, needles, bow and arrows, etc. you need flexy legs, back, shoulders, and arms

@@xoxo_maya23 i guess if your bases are under 5,4 and 100 pounds then you might not be able to be a flyer on that team. if you get your tumbling skills up you could do level 4 or 5 and usually older people are in those levels (also depends on size of your gym) and you’ll be smaller than them. i’ve been 5’1 since i was 13 but i’m not skinny enough to be a flyer. i’ve based a girl who’s 5’6 she was just skinny and good at locking her body and it made it weightless.
I'm sorry but if a girl drop a flyer in practice, the whole team runs until the coach says stop. Thee reason a lot of flyers don't stick their stunts is because theyre scared their bases will drop them. The girls need punishment whenever they drop a girl, so they will work not to do it ever again and build trust. Not only for their own safety but as discipline.

Even if the flyer says she is ok after hitting the floor especially when her group made zero effort to catch her, you need to make the bases and back spots run or do some type of conditioning. That will teach them to actually make effort to catch flyers. No reason the same group had their flyer hit the floor and no one tried to prevent her from falling. Without discipline it will continue to happen.
We had to do walk sits or parking lot suicides on my team 😭
My coaches would make us run if we just dropped a stunt. Even if the flyer didn’t drop on the ground. Any mistakes we need to do conditioning after
S/O to Destiny she really be trying hard and Kendal’s stunt group is great! Franklin’s stunt group just be throwing that poor girl and letting her fall any kind of way, no effort at all. They definitely need punishment every time she falls

Kerri is so weird. Girl how are you the coach’s daughter and have the worst attitude on the team. She doesn’t show initiative or even act like she wants to be there. You’re supposed to be a leader first of all. But instead you choose to act like a 2 year old going through “terrible 2’s” and try to test your mother’s patience. It’s unacceptable and embarrassing. She’s needs to get it together.

As a coach...the earrings and nails are such BIG safety issues.
At my gym if the flyer fell it was like that whole stunt group was punished besides the flyer. cause that is very dangerous.
At my gym if the flyer hits the ground the whole stunt group expect the flyer has to do 50 pushups

If this was my all star team , we dropped someone and they landed on the floor we running until our coaches say stop 💯💯 they need to stay together when they stunt or else they going to keep falling forward or to the side
From a former competitive cheerleader, I don’t think they understand how dangerous it is to be a flyer. If your bases aren’t willing to damn near break their necks to make sure you don’t hit the ground, there’s a problem. It’s all about trust, if your flyer knows you’ll catch her no matter what, she’ll be more confident to execute more advanced stunts. Bases shouldn’t be scared with their eyes half closed during a stunt. On the flip side, the flyer needs to stick it. And when they dismount, the flyer needs to keep her body tight.
The tumbling is good but their jumps need more work. They gotta get the basics perfected: tightening their motions, pointing their toes, landing their jumps. Tightening up the basic stunts: CATCHING the flyer, the correct way to hold the fliers foot, etc. Maybe have some practices where they just work on that only. Not trying to be harsh but what level are they competing on? I’m excited to see their growth!

They look so much better. But the coaches daughter acts like shes privileged and that's not fair to her teammates. She makes me upset everytime I watch. And why isnt there any consequences for dropping these young ladies?
I absolutely love this team I see that the team has been listening at the comments that have been present it to them and they are doing an awesome job. I love the the improvement their dedication and their uniforms. I believe At their next competition they’re going to stick it to. Coach Sonia from Jersey you’re my number one team .
Keri didn't try this whole video it was like she was just there to be there. Being that her mom is one of the coaches she already knew she was gonna make it.

Ashleigha (not sure how to spell her name) acts like she doesn’t want to be there. She acts like it’s boring and it’s she’s over it. It’s hard to watch her after watching everyone else looks so enthusiastic about cheer
That one group dropped their flyer a few times they should’ve been on the ground with her you never let a flyer hit the ground like that and if they do it’s running and conditioning for the bases. Other than that I see a lot of growth in the team and less back talking. I love that their all matching and being more encouraging of each other
Keri give her mom a hard time for no reason!! You are the coach daughter, and if you disrespect, disobey your mom like that what do you think the rest of the girls gonna do!! I think Keri is/can be a great athlete, but your skills will be covered up because all people see is they eye rolling, or the talking back. But your young and I know that some things take time, so I hope and wish nothing but growth and success!!

I love watching yal especially because of the girls that actually try their hardest (Spear, Destinee, Kendal & Etc) a lot of the girls have improved a lot but the group that keep letting Messiah fall is a definite no it seems like they not even trying to catch her. If I saw that as a parent I would be hott! They need consequences every time somebody hit the mat. And Im sorry but Kerri pretty self always has some reason as to why she can’t do something, rolling her eyes, or huffing her breath every time her mama say something to her. She wasn’t that bad in this vlog but still she supposed to be the one like “👀 yal heard what my mama said!”.

Those base have to hold up the flyers. The back group was just letting the flyer hit the ground! I wouldn’t be comfortable either. They would all be running until they learned to catch the flyer by any means.
I have seen a lot of improvement in this cheer team . They have been putting in hard work and less playing. Also they’ve been getting better with their stunts and their attitude. 💙💛💙go cuc 🦋🤞🏾

When we dropped someone we used to have to either run labs or do push-ups. Dropping someone is never funny. That can cause the entire team its season. It shouldn’t be a laughing matter... I’ve literally taken a concussion catching my flyer so she didn’t have to fall from a basket. That’s teamwork

great job ladies, I see the improvements. once you iron all the kinks you will be unstoppable. love everyone had their shoes, everyone had black attire. love that the coaches are more stern too. there was less playing around and attitude this practice.. just one thing... make sure hair is pulled back out of the face and held in place so it doesn't interfere when flipping/doing stunts... other than that you guys are looking miles ahead of where you started. keep up the good work.

This team has a lot of potential but y’all definitely need to clean up stunts and your partner stunts.A lot of times they look sloppy when girls are being thrown in the air. The bases need to catch them better and make it look clean. White cheer teams are very clean and being on all black cheer team y’all should want to be better than them. Make everything look clean and sharp. I wish I was one of the coaches because I would work on that so much with them.

I understand it's a learning process for everyone but damn they have to understand they literally have her life in their hands. She shouldnt hit the floor head first and they just keep letting her drop hard asf. When the flyer fell it really upset me bc I am a backspot as well and your flyer should never hit the ground like that… I’ve been elbowed in the face plenty of times when a stunt is falling and never once have I let my flyer smack the ground like that then turned around and had an attitude bc I was hit in the face. The flyer is more important than anything else at that point. They should’ve all conditioned. This team needs a lot of discipline and conditioning. It’s a shame

Coach, you have to give the girls your undivided attention and you are not. You divided your attention to the girls and the child. How can you thoroughly coach and criticize when you are not properly giving the girls your total attention. How can you criticize there's talking when you need to criticize yourself for bringing the child to work knowing you can't give the girls your total attention. GET A DARN BABYSITTER OR GIVE THE JOB UP TO SOMEONE WHO CAN TRULY COACH AND KNOW TO LEAVE THE CHILD WITH A BABYSITTER!
