Shudv continued south towards Gallup NM, south of shiprock. Turn west towards Red Valley (highway) and the Rock is right off the road and also has a dirt road leading to the rock. Much better and much closer.
If you go down Indian route 13 and make a right through one of the fences you can get up close and personal to this thing! I was there last December and it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve been in many places

Man ya'll have WAY better diets while on the road than I do lol I struggle to work in vegetables when making camp food specifically. Gotta try that one
Hahaha this was also like days 1-3 of the road trip, always slowly declines as the trip goes on lmao. But throwing vegetables in ramen, eating bagged salads and oatmeal definitely helpse
