At the risk of sounding corny, I absolutely love Horizons. I've been enjoying it way more then I did the old show, minus the original season, cuz the original season is timeless. Liko is just such an interesting character. She is adorable, very relatable, and have her funny moments. She's way more relatable the Ash was and I'm looking forward to see the rest of her adventures.
I'm someone who dropped the anime in the BW series, it wasn't for me anymore and I moved on. But when they said that there will be a new series, without Ash, I decided to give it a chance, just to check how it would be, and 48 episodes in, I can say I love this anime. It became my comfort show, the characters are adorable, I love them all
The emotion and humor the original ash series could implement at times, accompanied with its music, is still unmatched imo and will never be topped in that regard
@@Sheddertje yeah, the music from Kanto to Sinnoh was really good and iconic, Horizons OST it's ok, but lacks in some key aspects. Without spoiling to much, there's a scene that aired recently that I was expect a hype banger and the score they choose for that scene was really boring, but it is what it is...
I wish they were updating weekly like Japan, this 12 episode crap is insane... but hey, that’s just the price to pay for Netflix buying the hosting rights to Horizons...
Yea this has been a more tolerable season of the anime that I can watch with my kids. They aren’t as weird of characters as some of the other seasons. Freid is awesome. The seasons are too far apart on Netflix of course.

I honestly wish Netflix would invest in more Anime in general.
I have the same complaint here. 12 episodes at a time is lame. My only other choice is to watch subbed, but I don’t like to do that when I’m chilling.
